Looks like a problem with your internet connection. The Desky, the database and the uploader are fine.

Didn't change a thing but reloaded it this morning and it worked??? By the way it was working OK on one other platform on the same PC.

need help
I loaded Steve's step 1-4 and it compiled but it doesn't seem to feed TDesk. This a TDI-RSX indicator with 2 trends, "primary cross over secondary(trendps)" and "primary cross over Mid Line(trendpm)". I had hoped to use the pm for the entry and the ps for the exit, AT TIMES. It shows true, same as the indicator, on the chart. I'll include the indicator for a bases.

I set the TD up to show trendpm only because I wasn't sure how to do both, I marked each input with the //Tdesk.

Any help would be appreciated

Hello,
I don't know if I am in the right place to ask my question. I am running 3 demos and 1 live account on a vps. When I turned on my computer today to see how my demo with TDesk is doing i noticed that the emty4 terminal with Tdesk running was shut down. It is a new emty4 installation and I am running only Tdesk on it since 6. of November and it was doing fine so far. I could see the last opened order in the log at 7:01 this morning.
Has someone experienced similar problems running expert advisors? The broker where the demo has been shut down is the same where I am trading live. My live account was still running with a few other expert advisors and I have never had problems with them.
Maybe my broker doesn't like Tdesk because it is too successfully?

I find the only way to avoid this problem is to leave my computer permanently connected to the VPS - and this is the highly recommended FX VPS that I shout about from the hilltops.

The last loaded of my demos will routinely be shut down if I disconnect from the VPS for any long period of time. Frankly, I am more inclined to blame the Morons at Microsoft than I am Eaymon.

Just supplying my offering here. No idea what the solution is - apart from remaining permanently connected to the VPS.

Hello Thomas,
Probably the VPS was restarted for a system update.
I advise you to check and possibly disable the automatic windows update.

As a workaround you can try the freeware “Restart on crash” linked below which is meant to restart crashed programs:

Alternatively there are other freeware with similar feature, just google “restart closed program freeware”.

Can someone say me, why Desky not open trades, when TDesk give Super Signal?
Did anyone have the same problem?

I have had the same issue this afternoon with trades not being triggered on Signals when trades had been opened successfully earlier today.

I am on Demo, so just closed out all the trades & rebooted everything. Desky is now taking trades again.

Also there is a Safety feature variable "MaxpairsAllowedToTrade" which defaulted to 8. Once adjusted Desky started taking trade signals on more pairs.
