I cannot get two of my long-term SPB testing platforms platforms to run - Windows keeps telling me that they have stopped running.

Is there a problem?

hm... there wasn't any hardware maintenance or issues with your node.

one thing that has been a reoccurring issue with SHF clients is that TDesk uses a TON of resources to work.. and it was fine before... im wondering if your server ran out of memory as a result of that?

either way i'll investigate the windows logs and let you know.
Cheers Eaymon.

Just so you know, they ran just fine for weeks.

Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

TONS of resources means what? CPU? RAM? DISK? HANDLES?

If there really is a problem in resource usage, we can fix it together.

Update: I have reinstalled SPB 50 and 500. The platforms stop working the instant I add Trade2MySQLConnector.ex4

The only way around this is to go into the default profile and delete the chart I am trying to run Trade2MySQLConnector.ex4 on.

I have re-downloaded both the EA and the library. The problem persists.

Over to you folks.

I have the same problem, the new update Empty4 is in conflict with the Connector. I remove the chart contains the Connector, then everything seems fine.

Hi.

Unfortunately I can confirm the problem. Looks like Crapperquotes managed to make the SQL library that was used by many coders for many years unusable now. Great progress!

It might take a while to come up with a solution. For the time being, please delete or rename Trade2MySQLConnector.ex4 in the experts directory and then let your demos run without the connector. The data can be uploaded later.

Cheers

Hello. I report here my experience with this service, since I'm customer in the last 6 months with the plan "Ultra".

In the first 2 months the service was quite good, the speed of the vps excellent, the load with 4 Empty4 managed well, without the vps felt any effort or slowdown.

Afterwards I noticed an unexpected shutdown of the vps, that I had to restart manually.

In the last 2 months I have continued to find the vps closed, 4 or 5 times, and all the tests of the last 6 months I was running went up in smoke.

I contacted the service on December 14th, I received an answer and waited for the verifications, but I had no answer. The vps continues to close itself unexpectedly.

My apologies I was trying to find your query again last week to work on it. Can you pm me with your username or vps url?

There is something in your software that is causing it to crash.. its usually that we need to optimize the Empty4 clients or the server's resources are being overloaded.. once you send me your info i can have another look.

eaymon.
response copied from the support ticket:

"when you say shutdown... do you mean that you cannot access the server?

That's a very different issue than the server restarting. the servers never shutdown but auto restart. Based on the logs it seems that until the server restarted the server everything was running just fine.

The issue is that Windows 10 did some updates that affected Remote Desktop connection. So even though you couldn't connect, all the Empty4's were running just fine.

It's a simple patch.
I am sorry for the lack of response... i was hoping you'd reach out update. I can comp you 2 weeks for the delay in responding to your ticket.

Let me know if that works for you.

Eaymon"
