The 100,000 pips SPB Challenge

Your account must have enough wiggle room for it. So keep your lot sizes small. 0.01 lots allowed me to double a 10.000 AUD demo account in 9 months with a lot of room.
Just a heads-up as GP accounts have a 250 total limit for the sum of all open and pending trades.

Past yesterday I set up 2 demo both configured to open up to 20 pending trades for each pair on 28 pairs; in less than 24 hours I started receiving alarms of trades not being able to go through and it was then that GP Customer Support told me of the 250 total trades limit.

All 28 pairs becoming active will give a total of 560 trades, but even only 13 pairs will start triggering alarms.

I wanted to test all 28 pairs, so to be safe I reconfigured 2 new demos to open only 8 pendings per pair which, if all pairs becomes active, will give a total of 224 trades.

Regards,
Mauro

You must be aware that SPB can open much more trades on a pair than the grid size. My initial grid size is 5 and I have pairs with up to 16 open trades at the moment.

All inputs offered can be modified to your hearts content, though.

Basically, we are employing a "No Exits" strategy. No Friday exits, no stops, no targets, no baskets. This monster stacks trades in one direction to catch large directional moves. It only reacts to opposite signals.
Hi Thomas, Thank you very much for the great work and effort you have put into SPB. Tremendous results by the way and big money players will kill to put their hands on your results and of course the system :good:

I have to be realistic with my own expectations and financial situation, so will have to modify accordingly.

As you have mentioned above, we can modify all inputs to our hearts content. So here is what I will implement on the test set:

I will set Use Zeljko to true.
I will trade positive swap pairs only.
Instead of trading your 23 pairs I will let the Ea choose trades on all 28 pairs.

All the other ea inputs will remain the same as yours. If it takes me two years to reach the same results I will be more than happy :good:

Hope all in order.

Cheers
Leon

Thomas, you have that quality all great entrepreneurs have - the ability to think creatively and evolve forward. I've stayed out of the Slopey Peaky Bob arena until now, but it's amazing to see everything I've missed. I'm eager to give this a try with Lonnie's new Ditto setup. Should be interesting to say the least, but the best part of having Ditto available (whether you are a U.S. trader or not) is being able to try it out without needing to commit a large sum of money.

Endless thanks for what you do here!!

Hi @all.

My contributions are only a drop in the sea.

FXT-SPB-3 is the combined effort of:
- Paul creating SupeSlope
- Captain Jack bringing in his peak high/low concept
- Steve putting this all together and coding it into an EA
- René sparking and coding important parts of FXTestify
- all the testers contributing to FXTestify for months
- me only knotting some strings together

Just to let you know. Your applause goes to all.

Cheers

You might have mentioned TDesk.

All of the SHF plus you. Awesome place to be.

Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.
