so tests need to be done one 1 minute tf , every tick for this thing to work....

the offline 10 mins chart needs to be allready created!!!...
also all references to close, high low, need to become iClose(NULL,10,?) ore iHigh(NULL,10,?)
so even if the ea test runs on 1 min, everithing else will be looking to the offline chart :D...

about the indy , for ......SKE, ITS WORKING FOR ME .... so i have no idea how you managed to make it look like that .... in case in the first indy was any fault, ill upload the indy i use for the ea...
also, dragos and magft, when u import fratelli main indy , import it on 0 (current bar) and not last bar , because the code is allready looking at last bars , so it would become looking at 2 last bars ... so import needs to be on 0, current bar :D

hope it helps and nice to see pete here as well , ... i like this place ... no bullshit, only traders !
Micky at the more I dont use any indys only bulit in. ones for speed. I have done they changes you mentioned in. the last eat I posted. We need a version of your indy to match so we can run on ST together. Running iCustom calls in. ST slow it down considerably.

icustom 1 indy tha tells u all , versus .. telling all hardcoded indyes to look on 10 minutes... dunnoo whats faster...
u find attached what i use for my ea... still troubleshooting some logics in the ea, but there you go .

be advised this version u only need buffer 7 and buffer 1 , when buffer 7 is -1, long , when buffer 7 is 1 , u go short ...

buffer one is used fordeleting any pending/market orders if conditions dissapeared. as in ,
if (iCustom(NULL, 10, "Fratelli_MAIN_v1.3_ea",1,0) == iHigh(NULL,10,1)) u delete all buy orders market/pending..
if (iCustom(NULL, 10, "Fratelli_MAIN_v1.3_ea",1,) == iLow(NULL,10,1)) u delete all sell orders pending/market

hope it helps...

as soon as i am sure i will declare it bug free ....

This is not an ea, is just the indy i use for creating the ea :d

Micky, just checked, same thing happened to another Empty4 instance on another broker. Can you check ur chart for Jan 7, 2011?

Maybe that explain why the EA sometimes enter trade at prices different than PO lines when we attach our own template on the EA, because the previous version used in the template repaints?

Herein is probably where my involvement with this project is going to end.

johnjwong...really? Can't you just hang back at FF for a little while and give us a chance to get rolling?

Micky...why bite? I love (and AM) someone who asks questions (when appropriate), but one skim of the FF thread will show that Peter...aka...Fratelli...is spent from these sorts of questions...from this exact man!

Whatever.

If we...you guys...figure out a way to test this, I have resources....but I'm not doing it like this.

Best,

Ken

Ken ....

If i don`t reply , people will say i don`t care ore im back testing the wrong way and so on ...

If i do reply ..well ...why bite ?

To be honest with you i know that this guy ,trader ore what he is , he does`nt even know how to back test , maybe you saw i had an exchange of words with him on FF ...

Trully i came here because i saw people here , smart, calm and reasonable... also a lot of brilliant minds here.
Still , i am getting this querryes... what can i do ?

As somebody said earlier, you cannot please everybody ... still if you can please 5 %, it`s worth the effort... And you cannot imagine how much effort i put in this project only to try to please every possible person , and as well Peter, that man manually back tested for hundreds of hours ... HUNDREDS ... that is no joke.

So i will appreciate any help with the system , and ask everybody to just disregard any idiotic question that comes along... (i, cannot disregard it cause after i become the bad guy :D )

Micky,

I feel your pain, my brother!

It would be nice if there was a "closed door" area where people/coders/creators could say...FAK...I'm not sure this part of it is working...anyone have any suggestions? How can we backtest this? CAN we backtest this? Etc, etc, etc...

I appreciate the strange/odd dynamic that is going on (and nail in the coffin) between Mr. Hopwood and FF. I appreciate the fact that other people at FF probably want somewhere new to hang, but...

In regards to Fratelli. The man has a pretty decent system...brought it to the world...now here we are; he almost had his brain fried at FF today. Takes a few hours off, then sticks his head in here and says...hello world...er, coders! Within a couple hours...johnjwong (jjw) appears to start pointing out all the subtle differences again. Go home, john! Can you not read a few posts and see that something is right on the verge of answering ALL of your, and many of other's questions?

Bahhhhh....

I'm just frustrated for the people that are frustrated! We ALL know, jjwong, that the 7:15gmt bar on who-gives-a-fu$k broker, was different than the blah, blah, blah... ... ...

Attention to detail has its place! Rocket science is down the hall!

Micky...Peter...

That happened to me earlier, too...seemed to take an hour before it hit my Outbox...en-route to whom I was sending it to.
