The 100,000 pips challenge is finished. It is an honour for me to announce the first three winners:

1st place goes to Ben (@bodavid)
* 101,758 pips in 80 trading days
* 1,240 pips per day
* 9,356 cash profit per day per lot

2nd place won Tan (@raikon)
* 96,053 pips in 130 trading days
* 733 pips per day
* 5,463 cash profit per day per lot

3rd winner is David (@grodzinski)
* 78,829 pips in 130 trading days
* 606 pips per day
* 4,766 cash profit per day per lot

Well done, guys. You are the real EA tamers. We all owe you a lot.

Big thanks to all who participated in the challenge. We all learned a lot. I will start another challenge soon. The hurdles will be higher, but we have better trained horses now.

PS. No need to stop your tests now. Keep them running. It will be very interesting to see whether they can keep up their pace in the long run.

I have downloaded Ben's setfile from FXTestify and will give it a go on Demo

Hi @all.

Things are getting very interesting here.

My original test of SPB started 344 trading days ago and now stands at 135,000 pips (391/day). The winners in the 100,000 pips challenge have found much better setups and did beat me largely in the "per day" figures. In detail the nearest contestants are:

* @bodavid with 107,489 pips (1,295/day)
* @raikon with 101,737 pips (770/day)
* @grodzinski with 85,723 pips (654/day)

Now here is my challenge:

I will adapt my original test to what I learned from you. I will change my paramaters to those that you have proven to be better. I will not explain them here, they will all be revealed on FXTestify.

The game is to outpace my pips. As soon as you have a higher pips value than me on FXTestify, you will have won and will be entitled to receive the next glorious one-time-on-earth trophy.

*** Mind: This is not the new start-from-scratch challenge ***

The new challenge will be announced soon and be starting from zero. The above challenge does only make sense for those having accumulated around 100,000 pips already.

All others, keep your powder dry.

The GBP plunge and POTUS's trade war caught us on the wrong foot. If one or both relsolve, we could be back very quickly. Huge grids of up to 20 trades have built up in my demos. We will see what happens.
