Yes thanks for the help any reason you used the 1H timeframe? Just curious :youknow:Ehrenmat » Sun Aug 25, 2019 9:02 am wrote:Hey taipan and c1borg!
Thank you very much for taking my suggestion into account. It was just a thought at the beginning and I am very happy that it just came out this positive - at least for the drawdown aspect.

Taipan's Super Trend Setup
I fresh loaded this up earlier when the market opened. It now have 29 EURAUD open. The only setting might open up to many trades is Grid Trading and Recovery or is there something else I've missed?

I have my TDesk Trading partner v3t set the "FillTheGaps=True". If you don't want so many trade open, set it to false. I have first profit of $34.00 due to closure of EURAUD & GBPCHF trades. You should have the same result.lamdog330 » Mon Aug 26, 2019 11:51 am wrote:I fresh loaded this up earlier when the market opened. It now have 29 EURAUD open. I used the Donchian Channel Indicator for a better comprehension of how the Peak HiLo Indi gets to its signalling cascade. Just type in the 1682 bars for the H1 timeframe. This is the standard parameter of Peaky.
At the very outer rims of the Channel or Peaky, prices tend to reverse spontaneously while taipans setup is in a full trend into this outer rim. Therefore, Peaky blocks exactly those sections in this modification and only allows the price reversals. I don't have a screenshot or sth at the moment but if it is still unclear, I can write it down in a more detailed version.
Just shout out if you need more info!
Cheers,
Mat

Thank you, I missed that.
I've now set it to false among other settings. I had 70 open trades on EURAUD this morning and almost out of margin so gotta tweak it somehow.

Loaded the 22nd August Template setup last week after it was posted and it's just closed a bunch of trades with the account down about 14%

Just that...for a few days trading it's not a great result. Was running on a VPS so I couldn't observe it fully but it needs some tweaking...tomele » Mon Aug 26, 2019 9:58 pm wrote:And this exactly says us what?wallywonka » 26 Aug 2019, 22:49 wrote:Loaded the 22nd August Template setup last week after it was posted and it's just closed a bunch of trades with the account down about 14%
I think it's important to post both good and bad results.
