NT - The ratio gives us a lot of noise. After doing some visual backtest, I think the Diff is sufficient to see how the pairs are moving apart/closer in relation to each other, in which, is telling us the strength of the trade.

The Diff also tells us to stay on the trade or to exit soon.

Did you still didn't find the tmaTrueMode Parameter?
you can actually visually backtest with this enabled.

This is my setup in brief. I am using a standard deviation channel that is free from compassfx. It uses fib levels for its channels. It is really nice because it has 3 setting for volatility and a 4th that has all the channels. I just made a templates of the different setting and apply as needed. I am using the Demark trend trader and projections. Along with THV pivots calculated classically instead of using the fib pivots. Your tool is the brilliant addition. I use the deviation channel to see trend and enter either counter-trend or with prevailing trend. Generally will enter at confluence of lines judging if there is a strong or weak trend. However even if you do not get a strong move it is remarkable how you can squeeze a few pips out of the setup. The MACD and Divergence is for confirmation either before the indicator cross or after. I am using the cross to enter and picking the best time from either the 15 min 30 min or in some instances 60 min chart. This is an intra-day method and with the deviation channels look back of 5 days I am not concerned about the 4 hour or daily periods. Entry on a pinpoint crossing are better than looser confluence. I exit on the cross of the -1 or 1 but sometimes the -.8 or .8 . I am just starting to fully understand this setup but I really like it. I have to get back to bed now. Just up looking at the markets some. USD est time.

@neotrader - I have compared my values with slowkey's (I am using v 1.0.2) and there is a significant difference in amplitude of JPY - see screenshot - do you know why?

@slowkey - looked over compassfx but could not locate the digression channel indicator - would you please provide a link or post it here....

slowkey has also the Diff slope on his chart...this is the only cause I can think of...the indicator compresses the chart to show all slopes....please try it with your showDiffSlope on and tell me if the difference is still significant...
