Ok, this is my first basket I'm watching....

AUDCAD
Slope 0.81 = Long Trade
Waiting for price to retrace to the Daily Pivot/5.1 MA

GBPNZD
Slope -0.88 = Short Trade
Price has retraced & touched the Daily Pivot, but waiting for more pairs to trigger before launching basket

EURNZD
Slope -0.92 = Short Trade
Waiting for price to retrace to the 5.1 MA

NZDJPY
Slope 0.81 = Long Trade
Price has retraced & touched the 5.1MA but is lower than the Daily pivot. I will wait until price breaks above the Daily pivot for a trigger, unless most of the other pairs trigger first

NZDUSD
Slope 0.85 = Long Trade
Waiting for price to retrace to the 5.1 MA

I started to write, "So where the blue blazes are all the damn pivots? They don't show up on my charts."

Then I thought to scrunch up the chart so much that it became unusable but did at least the pivots showed up, i.e.

Can anyone here explain how this is actually usable? I cannot see how. The degree of scrunching up to make all three pivots viewable was ridiculous. To see where the market is in relation to the daily pivot or 5.1 relied on unscrunching the chart - which took a while, and by the time I had finished I had forgotten where the various pivots were. The damn D1 pivot disappears entirely on the D1 chart.

In a way it doesn't matter, because I can simply knock up an indi that calculates the three privots and displays them on the chart in prices. Trouble is, I am going to use all this to code an EA and I know from experience what happens when my x (x can = anything, in this case pivots) do not = everybody elses x, so it would be a help to get my x actually displaying something meaningful on my chart.

Or does everyone else have charts as meaningless as mine? If not, can someone take a few seconds to supply something meaningful, please?

Hi Steve, I posted as a test version where I took out the 3MA lines and added a daily pivot line. 2 less lines on the screen. I still use the original version the most but occasionally will set a pending order based on the daily pivot crossing back into the trend instead of the MA lines. I only do this when I can t seem to find a good entry off of the MA lines. Hopefully I wont confuse you anymore.

...That I could live with. Believe it or not I have a 20 pip spread on E/N and a 80 on N/F. And yes, that's real pips. On N/F my sell/buy is .7533 and .7613.

You're not alone Spyderman. I have also 20 pips spread with AVAFX on EURNZD, and 25 pips on GBPNZD

Hi Jemook, I noticed that your basket was triggered today at 00:08 which I assume at the first 1 or 2 hours of Asia Markets opening (I don't know in which time zone you are? )

But do you think that we could rely on what Currency Slope Strength give us in the first 1 or 2 hours of the Day in terms of Currency Pairs which could be a good candidates for Buy / Sell, or do you think it is more wise to be patient and to check those values at 6H or 7H GMT ?

I don't look at time. I look at when the 5.1 MA's get hit or when the daily pivots get crossed.
