As soon as I posted the NewBeast, pipopotamus asked me if I'm sure modules are balancing currency pairs, are working properly. I was not, so I changed them so that they operate according of global variables. Patrick's next idea to make this improvement to Reversi and FLTR.

So here it is RR!

For now, the only intentional change is my own module balancing currency pairs. I also added AutoCalculateReEntryLinePips.

Ribelo, thanks for this. Are you absolutely certain that your code is correct and that mine is wrong?

The reason I ask is we all know that I am:

• a fallible coder who make mistakes
  happy to accept corrected code and pull it into my 'mainstream'

Especially, corrections need pulling into my shell EA code, from which so much evolves. If the shell is wrong, then it needs correcting but I need to be sure that said corrections really do address existing faults.

Not at all, Steve. My code is definitely different, but not necessarily better. Pipopotamus told me that him and another person it happened that the Beast and Reversi have taken transactions that should not be taken. Never happened to me, but I never focused on that and did not attach attention.

Stupidest and most time-consuming way to correct errors is to make everything from scratch, but it is the only way that I can. Zljeko wrote the previous code, and I do not think I should correct him.

I'm not sure if this is a good time to replace the previous code, to my code. Would be nice if someone check and see it. Preferably would be the person whom the previous code caused problems.

If only I knew that something I can fix or improve your code and to contribute to your shell, I would certainly do it. It probably still is not that time.

Don't knock starting from scratch - it is the way we all learn. My shell ea evolved from the ridiculous number of times I was coding yet another ea from scratch, and thinking "Now, where have I written this function before - I know it is somewhere."

I still spend quite a lot of time engaged in the search activity; I merely spend a lot less than I did two years ago. The binoculars icon that appears just to the right of the 'Bookmarks' icons in the editor works quite hard.

Hi Pippo.....I have my Reversi Revisited Demo started and there is this little stream of saliva that starts dripping out of one side of my mouth when you talk about Ribelo's FTLR.......

I have asked this good man for far too much. The latest is 1.2.6 series/fixed interval position sizing for FTLR...Hope he does not blow up in anger, and frustration. He has been very generous, as well as patient...Thank you ribelo...After JP2, you are next Polish saint! Pippo P.S. It may be that my ideas, "blow up." I am hoping that with FTLR's timely entries, and with this scaling method, we can make an excellent EA even better...I may be wrong...This happens a lot...

Steve's original idea and code for FTLR was and still is my favorite.......You did your own MM, you did your own pair management and you did your own recovery (manually hedging).....It made a large group of us a lot of pennies......And it's still running on my office laptop as I type this....

I will join the FTLR praise - I remember having it on a demo while away on holidays. Not really a trending month, August, so conditions were good, but nevertheless during ca. 3 weeks it traded 23 times and all were winners! That was remarkable. And then came SNB or BoJ with some intervention and spoiled the party with a big loser, no stop loss, no recovery - evident glitch in a superb idea/ea. I went on but regret it now... It would be good to revisit.
