I'm happy to have found this community.

I think it will help me become a more disciplined trader

Hoping to try some of the utilities soon.

I started using MPTM again to help manage some scalping trades. The hidden stop loss and hidden TP keep bringing up errors. I have set it up to have a hard SL and TP at 200 pips. The hidden SL was to be 40 pip and TP 10 pip. I keep getting the error message that I cant have a hidden SL/tp without a hard SL/TP, yet there is a hard value in place.

Any thoughts?

I found the bloop as soon as I looked for it. Fixed in 1b in post 1.

This is the easiest DIY fix in the world. Go to: bool HideTakeProfit(int ticket)

Look down about 10 lines to: double take = 0;

This should be: double take = OrderTakeProfit();

I just gave the code that presents the, " You cannot have a hidden stop loss without a 'hard' stop loss in place. Read the user guide." message. There is no reason why not, so I will make the teensy code alterations and post again later.

Thanks. Just so you know, whilst it displayed that message, the actual hidden TP also didn't work. Dont know about the SL as thankfully the trades wouldn't have triggered it.

V 1c is in post 1.

I have removed the need for trades being monitored for hidden stop loss and take profit to have 'hard' SLTP's. I have slightly altered the screen feedback to make clearer whether the figures refer to stop loss or take profit. This last has no significance; just one of those tiny improvements we can make from time to time.

DIYers, go to these two functions:
bool HideStopLoss(int ticket)
bool HideTakeProfit(int ticket)

Look down a few lines to:
double stop(or take depending on the function) = OrderStopLoss(); or OrderTakeProfit();

Delete the block of code immediately underneath that disables the function if the order does not have a stop loss or take profit.

Go to void DisplayUserFeedback() if you want to make the cosmetic change. Scroll down to:
if (UseHiddenStopLoss)

Replace "stops" in the following line of code with, "SL" or whatever you want to replace it with. Repeat the change three lines further down. You will already understand quite a lot of stuff if you have been learning some basic coding by these DIY's. Not to worry if you are new to all this and muck up totally. Merely re-download from post 1.

You can never muck up totally when attempting a DIY folks. The update is always available in post 1 of whatever thread it is you are following and EA you are using. Try it. It is satisfying when you get it right.

Is it possible to get MPTM to remove or disable an expert if it hits a SL ?

I see the "simpleallpairbasketmanager" has that function . It makes a global EA deactivation though pity you cant work it on magic number or something else so it removes or deactivates specific EA's .

I will look into that, Paul. An EA can remove itself; I didn't know it could remove others.
