My idea is to let a moving average close the trades as I noticed we were closing good trades too early. Look at the arrows on this chart as an example.

The indicator at the bottom switches as the MA changes direction, currently set to 10 to firstly cut short any losses and more importantly let any profits run. I think its currently set too high and this setup will give back a lot. However I will reduce the MA value to try and get a sweet spot. Probably wont work but worth a try.

Remember last Monday which was brilliant then the rest of the week was horrendous

I have been asked for my setup so here goes.

Setup TDesk, Desky and MD on three XAUUSD charts add the Exit Point indicator to your Indicators folder. Use the template and setfiles.

Currently sitting at -$83 loss and $332 profit with no profits banked, the obvious challenge is to set the MA at a value to maximise profits and minimise losses. Too high and it will give back, too low and it will leave profits on the table. Please be aware I only launched this today and I could have hit the perfect market for the EA. Tomorrow may be a different story :youknow:

Now at -100 +350 overall and here is exactly what we are up against a -50 potential loss after good profit, the indy will not trigger until the end of the H1 candle close. However the good news is, this is worst case and with a faster more accurate MA setting any loss will be reduced.

Edit: Candle just closed and price came back up overall -107 +350 including approx -20 when the EA wasn't working and now -15 on this pair, so very nearly closed.
