And make sure you're editing a .mq4 file. I've heard some yahoo tried it with a non-mq4 file.

By the by, I stated earlier that double-clicking the functions list works if either all the functions are folded or all are unfolded. With use, I am finding this not to be so. Definitely a bug there.

Put your cursor inside the parentheses, or to the right of the open-paren if you haven't typed the close-paren yet. It looks like F1 only works when the cursor is on the function name (left of the open paren) and Ctrl-Shift-Space only works when you're to the right of the open paren.

Running Windows7 - To get the Code beautifier under the Tools menu to works, I made this change in the Commands.properties file, near line 111

command.14.*==$(SciteDefaultHome)\\additions\\astyle\\astyle.exe -tOA2 "$(FileNameExt)"

added " " around $(SciteDefaultHome)

command.14.*=="$(SciteDefaultHome)"\\additions\\astyle\\astyle.exe -tOA2 "$(FileNameExt)"


I also changed it so it formats it a bit different.
command.14.*=="$(SciteDefaultHome)"\\additions\\astyle\\astyle.exe -A2 -s3 --mode=c "$(FileNameExt)"

Do we use "#" to comment a line out in this file?

code beautifier sometimes comes in handy. it seems i put an extra "=" there. thank you for your correction and I'll include the fix into next release, however i won't change the style definition, those are left for people to customize.

Are you on Win7 or Vista? If you are on it you may be blocked from viewing by its security measure. Try right click on the file "docs\mql.chm", and click on properties.

Once the property window pops out, notice the security section at the bottom, and click on "Unblock". Try it and see if it works.

I go a step further.

I stopped using Meta Editor and am using only this IDE.

I am addicted and dependent on it .... and I enjoy this addiction.

It is - how can I express it ? - simply the best.
