There is an update to the core library in post 1, fixing the trailing stop bloops that emerged in the Ghostrider thread. I am not surprised it has not emerged here as we are using the SPB tribe as a basket trader, but accurate code is better than inaccurate code. Our thanks again to FourXXX for spotting and fixing it.

Easy DIY. Do asearch for:
NewStop = NormalizeDouble(sl + (trailingStopPips / factor), digits);

Replace it with:
//Thanks to FourXXXX for sorting out this next line of code
NewStop = NormalizeDouble(bid - (trailingStopPips / factor), digits); //FourXXX

Then do a search for:
NewStop = NormalizeDouble(sl - (trailingStopPips / factor), digits);

Replace it with:
//Thanks to FourXXXX for sorting out this next line of code
NewStop = NormalizeDouble(bid + (trailingStopPips / factor), digits); //FourXXX

I got one question, why don't I have the grid I have drawn in the picture attached?

I have tried to use the "send buy stop grid" script but it messes the EA more.

Is there any way to overcome this problem or is it just that Empty4 and CrapperQuotesLanguage are crap?

Is there any way I can find out why this is happening; why I get only 2 or 3 stop orders instead of 5?

I know that when I use the "delete all pending orders on the pair" script, the EA then places a complete 5-trade grid that was supposed to place initially.

Is it an Empty4/CrapQuotes problem or should I look on the EA code and the modules of SPB?

I just use the 10,000 pips version (see attached) which has a 5-trades grid.

As said above, after I use the "delete all pending orders on the pair" script, the EA then places a complete 5-trade grid that was supposed to place initially and corrects the problem by itself.

It is quite frustrating because I don't know where to start looking for the cause of the problem. I don't know much about coding either so it is even harder to determine what the problem is.

Is it on the EA code? Is it because of my broker's servers? Is it because of my Empty4 installation?
Why do I just have a 2/3 trades grid instead of 5?

Does your version of SPB places the exact grid you have specified on the settings every time?

If yes, could you please share with me your set-up? mq4/mqh files, server, broker, EA code?
So I can start eliminating possible causes?

To be honest, I have been testing three demo accounts since July:
1)The original 10,000 pips version
2)A 10,000 pips version where I have just changed the UseAtrForGrid=true; (produces a better grid!)
3)An SPB version that I have been playing with the settings
They all struggle with the same problem, the grid!
I have figured that the "delete all pending orders" script corrects the problem but I want to solve this problem before I go live.

Any help, thoughts or just sharing set-ups would be much appreciated at this point!

It makes absolutely no sense to attach the EA again, thus I have deleted it. A lot more sense would make to attach your settings. Doing so would at least give a probable kind soul a chance to help you.

The 10,000 pips version has no settings in it, works great and I really like the simplicity of it.

Although I have been playing with the SPB settings a lot, I have never managed to make the EA do what I want it to do. For example, look at the pic below, I have set 1000 pips basket take profit but the EA did not close the basket! (Settings attached!)

Here are my results of the three demo accounts, I also publish the two version of 10,000 pips in FXTestify.
1)Original 10,000 pips version. I have been running this since July and closed and restarted once in September to compare with the ATR one:

Look how old this thread is. Some of us have been testing this stuff for just shy of two years. Some of us are even trading it on our live trading accounts.

A gentle word of warning. The coder tends to cut up a tad on the rough side when some dummy comes along and suggests that something said dummy is doing wrong is actually caused by faulty coding. He tends to get a mite irritated. OK, so the main coder is a bit of a clown, but much of the EA's code has been provided by real experts, all of whom are board moderators with the authority to ban your butt out of dodge in a heartbeat.

Perhaps best to work stuff out for yourself rather than assuming that you being an idiot is in reality down to faulty code? Just a suggestion. Give it some passing thought. You have already escaped lightly and I would not expect this luck to last.

All I am trying to do is solve a problem, therefore the smart thing to do is to ask for help and support either from you Steve, the creator, or the real experts that live in this forum.

By no means I was trying to insult anyone!

I believe asking questions is the way to solve a problem! There are no stupid questions! All I am doing is breaking down the problem to individual components so I can find a solution.

Maybe I have fked up the modules and indicators needed for the EA to work? Maybe I should include something that I have missed? Maybe I have a wrong version of the EA? Maybe when my CrapEditor compiles a good EA, makes it bad? Maybe my broker doesn't want me to run such a good EA? Maybe I need a different version of Empty4?

I can tell that you and a few other people here have put a massive amount of effort, work and time to all this and I did not want to insult anyone.

All I know is that the EA rocks!

I just need to find out how to use it properly.

Again, any help and thoughts on how to solve this problem would be much appreciated at this point!
