Baluda this is really a great contribution. Being able to see the max pips made in a basket and max pips lost will help me so much in deciding what to put as my tp per pair. I was thinking if we could show a timestamp of the high watermark and low watermark it would also help my testing.

I hate to ask dumb questions, but that has never stopped me in the past.

When I have the SlopeStrength indicator up the fields overlap, so I am unable to distinguish the trend arrows or dots. Any suggestions how to correct this? BTW, I am using full screen on a 22" monitor.

Isn't that a matter of turning on "Chart Shift", the button next to "Auto Scroll"?!

I wish it were that simple. Things are still bunching up.

MMan, see my earlier post -- I think that should help you fix the problem.

Jem, rather than putting in timestamps &etc, wouldn't it be more instructional to look at the full history of the basket open equity? The indi Shelley posted will tell you exactly when it hit its high, low, etc.

Baluda – the high/low watermark resets to the current value when I change timeframe. If this isn't fixable let me know and I'll just put it on a seperate chart and not touch it.

Gary – I'll look into it. But for now all I really need is the timestamp/high/low and it tells me what I need.

No, that just shifts the chart. It has no effect on the labels MM is talking about.

MMan, it looks like Paul defined offsets (spacing between columns) for each likely fontSize value. I'm not sure why those values don't work for you, but you can change them. Open the SlopeStrength.mq4 file and scroll down to the switch statement starting on line 112. Notice it has cases for fontSize 8-12. Choose the fontSize you want to use, and increase the appropriate horizontalShift setting until it leaves enough room to see the arrows &etc. If you're using the new IDE you might have to re-apply the SlopeStrength indicator to see the results of your changes.

That worked! The hardest part was counting to line 112!

LOL! Then it would have been really easy if you'd used the line number counter! Lower-right corner of the metaeditor window. Or if you use w633's new IDE, you can display line numbers along the left side of the code.

Changes:

• Added timestamp to high- and low-water marks
• High- and low-water marks only intialize at start of a new basket, not when changing timeframe
