Hopelessly confused by TDesk or Desky? Ask here.

Im fairly new to using Exit signals so hopefully can get some tips. I have a USD drone with buffers >0 LONG or <0 SHORT other than this there is nothing displaying in the buffer. On TDesk I have a Green or Red arrow depending on the buffer state. If there is nothing I get 0 which is FLAT.

I want to close or EXIT the trade instantly when the Red or Green arrow shows up. What setting should I use in TDesk to achieve this?

It is excluded from the SOLO signals and that's why its coloured blue.

I think You are mixing two concepts - USD Indicator Exit feature with TDESK Exit Signal. Lets Leave USD Exit feature alone.

You have Ex1 indicator, you need two states in it, usual Long and Short (just like for ordinary indicator ) keep in mind that you want to have them working like a veto (so opposite) to actual state of your Solo/Super Signal.
Than try to go to Tdesk and fill in ForceExitOnOppositeSignals=Ex/H1.

EDIT: I am not sure but you might also want to put it into VetoOnOppositeSignals=Ex/H1. Otherwise Desky might start opening and instantly closing trades in an endless loop- making your broker happy.

Make sure that your Ex/H1 gnerates signal that is opposite to your Solo/Super Signal otherwise ForceExit will not work.

That's why I thought to use the drone to Exit as I want to close the trade if either a green or red arrow appears. If the buffer is populated and ive set the drone to Exit what do I need to put in TDesk. The arrow will not always be opposite to the other signals.

You must use your indicator twice, one instance normal and one instance inverted. Force exit if any of them is opposite. Both must also be defined as Veto signals.

I have a small issue with the drones I am using a USD drone with the attached settings. It works perfectly but I need it to act as soon as the buffer changes, however it seems to be waiting for the new candle to change. If I manually reload the drones template before the next candle it works. The buffer in the data window is behaving as expected and appears on the live candle immediately.

Any ideas would be appreciated :hi:

Update: If I change the chart TF it refreshes however I used an automatic chart refresh indicator and it doesnt work

Also seems to effect the Multi signals they stop working until the drones are refreshed I will try and get a screenshot of what happens

Why you want to refresh it every second while your TF is H1.
I don't think SignalMaxAgeBars can be 0. But not sure, set it to 1 instead.

Ive adjusted it to 5 and same result but good point. As for the SignalMaxAgeBars it seems to work fine as I only want the live bar, but will try your suggestions, thanks.

I have set this to 0 now just in case its having an effect however the times on the screenshot suggest not

Signal age columns
Next to each Signal column there is a Signal Age column showing you how long this
signal already exists, configurable as compact or extended version. Until the maximum
signal age (configurable in the inputs) is reached, the signal itself is highlighted and
the age is shown. Afterwards the signal is shown normal and the age is deleted. This
helps identifying only fresh signals. All signal ages can be deleted by the footer button.
