Ritter,

You need couple of indicators to feed USD/UBD's that send signals toTdesk. To find out which are missing in your indicators folder just download each template Leon uploaded. Than open them in Notepad. Than Find section "Indicator_Name=xxxxxxxxx" . HGI is the name of the first indicator that is needed for USD 1.tpl. Make sure it is in your 'indicators' folder. Then move one to the next one ... Than UBD 1.tpl...

You need to download each of them and put 'em in your indicators folder.
For some of them you need the dependencies like hgi_lib.ex4 that is needed for HGI indicator to work.

Than you can load Leon's templates to any symbol you will not be trading.

an update on leon's setup.. on week 47 i had a loss on that week, but on week 48 i was able to recover it.. it might be bigger profit if i did not touch the 'maxopentradesallowed' from 3 to 1.. since this is a live account with little capital, i want to minimize my exposure to the market. will test also to the live account the ghostrider.. since it made a good profit on my demo account this past week

I dont seem to be able to get the Blue and Magenta STOCH lines showing on 10.9.3-2.STOC7.

Hi Safxpro,
In the first post of this thread, you will find my template which should pick up all the indicators and settings. Nevertheless a DIY.

Drag the moving average onto the Stoch sub-window and click on "apply to" and choose "first indicator data".
Repeat the same for the second moving average.

I am currently using Ma period 10, method linear weighted, and applied to first indicator data.
2nd ma period 10, simple and first indicator data.

Just to let you know. I have by no means abandoned SHF and am still around.
From a pm I received.

Alright i see! I have been running a similar setup for a while now , and it has had up and downs. Still making some profit tho. How has this setup been performing for you

My answer:

Here's the thing for me. I am a manual trader with a view to automate and replicate my manual trading. I am always looking for something to closely replicate what I see with my eyes. I always scout out for indicators that more or less interpret my system and hopefully can translate that into an automated system. These indicators do not come along overnight but with persistence I find them. I believe I am getting closer.
So to answer your question in short. I cannot say that I am still trading/testing that particular system. It is an evolutionary process for me. But the core remains the same.
I also do not want to post my progress too often as I do not want to confuse new traders. If you are trading my last set of files and making some profit. It is good, but you need to grow from there and explore yourself.
The most important thing Is that we can never stop tweaking.
I would love to post the ultimate system here as I believe Steve's forum deserves it.
We shall see as time goes.

Hi Guys,
A little bit of a case study and where I am at.

I am citing AudChf. I am at a point where I could possibly look for a sell trade in my manual trading. And as it stands the Ea could look for a sell trade too. Always sell high and buy cheap.
I am above my weekly pivot and monthly pivot.
My stochs on the daily t/frame shows a possible turn to the downside but not cast in stone.
I will look for a pullback on the 4hrly time frame provided I am still in line with the daily t/frame stochs.
I have indicators running that are very responsive on the higher t/frames to set me in the right direction.
It has taken countless hours of testing and to translate that into an Ea seems endless but I am getting there slowly.
Anyway, I hope to share once I have my ducks in a row.

Hey Tomele

Unfortunately I couldn't get long term good results with this so far, although I know Leon is continuing to refine it.

Sometimes there would be periods of high equity gains, but many times a lot would be given back without being locked in. My experiments with trying to lock profits were also not successful longer term.

Maybe others have modified it better and have had better results; and am of course looking forward to Leon's further developments
