Hello Richard,

I‘m forward testing your recent setup on a small live account. There seem‘s to be a minor mistake in your USD_HGI setup. I think long condition should read buffer 0 (big green arrow) or buffer 7 (blue wavy) less than median price ... otherwise only blue wavys will give a long solo signal. Well, as long as we look back 500 candles this won‘t have a bigger impact I suppose.
Another issue I experienced during testing was the immediate closure of all buy (buy limit) trades. I suppose this might have something to do with the „hide tp/sl“ feature but I‘m not sure. Would anybody be able to test if buy trades get closed instantly when „hide tp/sl“ is active?

That explains a few "WTF" moments I've had when trades weren't taken, thank you for the heads up.

Glad you're confident in it enough to load it onto a live account. My micro account is up 90% since the beginning of February.

The more the experienced folk here test it and give feedback, the better it is for all. Hence the reason for sharing here.

There‘s not much for me to offer here except testing strategies and EAs or playing around with all those features incorporated by Steve. I can‘t read code or program stuff that could help.
Concerning forward testing: I don‘t believe in demo anymore. When I do have some money to spend I like to forward test. It‘s not because of GP but the big players. That‘s the reason I like the concept of hidden sl/tp by the way.
Back to topic: Looking forward testing your strategy. Hopefully it stands the test of time.

There have been a good number of downloads of the sets, hopefully the folks who did so will test variations of the theme and feed back to the forum.

At the moment I am running a test on the M5 1SMA cross of the H1 34 LWMA and it is doing quite well. It is filtering out quite a bit, but the trades it does take are hitting an extended basket TP with ease.

The last settings shared in this thread are doing that to me: opening trades then deleting.
The only things I changed were 'hide tp/sl' and "use FIFO"

Also, RIchard can you confirm what settings for that February one that pulled in an amazing 90%?

Everything I'm seeing so far is watch it make a bunch of tiny positive basket dumps into the balance for a few days then, right as I'm about to can Ditto and go full lottage, it gets stuck in a change of market conditions and draws itself down to losing all that gain.

To be fair I have to be FIFO compliant (USA here) and so I have had to change settings to "hide tp/sl" and "Use FIFO". I do not know enough about the deep and mysterious underworkings of these complex masterpieces of TDESK/DESKY to see if changing those were the cause.

Also, to be fair, I'm using it on an OANDA demo account and using the awesome Ditto EA from this forum to copy the trades to OANDA's proprietary FxTrade platform which I can trade nano-lots! Sometimes though, it loses it's link and trades that should have happened didn't and some trades that should have been closed remained open and it could strike a stiff blow to the balance.

Gents, these are end-of-month rebalancing flows causing countertrend movements. IMO it would be better to try to filter these out instead of affecting all trades with SL and reduced grid size. Just my 2 cents.

Looking at the HT charts I tend to agree that this is a temporary change in direction. We have, or are about to return to HT supply/demand levels on all of the pairs in DD. Lets hope we are both right.

I have contacted Steve and he has agreed to produce a stand alone multi currency EA for us.
I have asked him to incorporate a "fill the gap" option after sending a grid, as well as an option for a hard stop for all trades at a value of the original and first market trade.
But in the mean time I will set up 2 accounts with the same settings apart from the "fill the gap" (which I will do manually) and the other a SL for all trades on a pair at 125% OF D1 atr for the first market trade (also manually) until we have it. I hold a fulltime job away from the computer so it will be hit and miss, but hopefully it will give us an idea.

Navigate to the tab where you loaded the desky.tpl. Go to "charts" - "indicator list" - select "TDesk Universal Signal Drone" - edit - select "Inputs" tab - scroll down until you see "LONG Signal Condition" - double klick "LONG_Buffer_A" and change the value to 0 - enter - push "OK" - you should be done.
