Hi Thomas,
As Trader also picked up. Unfortunately, my long-term results have also not been great. I am continuously refining and tweaking as I go along. I am making headway but still too soon to release.

Anyway Folks,
I can live with this right now and right here. 26 out of 28 currency pairs all in profit

. Haven't seen this in a while, Tomorrow is another day.
I am trying my best to get something going.
I need more testing to get to where I want to be.

Thanks so much.
So far so good. Desky took 1208 pips in profit today and leaving 927 pips on the table, no manual intervention from me whatsoever. Touchwood.

Those are outstanding results.

My new "Sharky" sets are chugging away nicely and banking around 150 pips per day, but it seems you are nailing it.

Lekker man.

You obviously had some interaction with the South African culture and the Afrikaans lingo. "Mooi man"

Truth be known, I would much rather have constant results like you with 150 pips a day, than up and down results.
However, so far so good and I am loving the results. Time will tell.

Ja boet, I spent 18 years in Jo'burg where my folks still live after immigrating there in 1975 from Yorkshire. I moved back to the UK in the early 90's.

Has your account been suffering with big DD before those magnificent gains then Leon?
I'm not familiar with most of the Buffers you are using.

Well, that explains your SA connection and you certainly haven't lost the touch

I wouldn't say big DD. It is basically a case of giving back my profits in rangy periods. It felt like it was going nowhere. I use responsive indicators and have searched the net for better indicators which I have made UBD compatible. I have through a process of elimination sorted out the weak links in my system which up to now has been a lengthy process with forward testing. It has been a case of striking a balance between responsive indicators with smaller and higher timeframes. If I use higher timeframes my trades last but my drawdown becomes very big and I am not sure that I can handle that with a fairly small live account which I aim to use for TDesk live testing only. I am a manual trader and make my forex income solely from manual trading. Provided I stay healthy long enough there will be a day that I want an Ea to carry on for me. Up until then, I have a lot of time to work on things and be ready when I do go bigger. Sorry for the long-winded explanation. Anyway, these are my plans at least.
I will release my system here when I get consistent profits but need to take it through its paces, especially rangy periods.

Yep, this business certainly does take time and patience, and in my case lots of frustration.

I'm sure one day true success will be found and pay out for all those years of struggle.

Keep up the excellent work and updates, they are very much appreciated.
I very much look forward to hearing of, and seeing your confidence in sharing your sets.

I for one, will give my new tweaks at least another week of forward testing before posting them on Sharky, but so far they are looking promising.
