You are beyond help and nobody here is going to bother to try.

You may have been a 'member' since 2013 but you clearly have taken no notice of what has been going on.

Only an idiot would have asked your questions.

Only an utter moron would then have repeated these stupid questions an a PM to me.

To me? In a PM?

There is daftness, if that is a word.

There is stupidity.

There is monumental stupidity.

Then there is imbecility.

Then there is cataclysmic imbecility.

Then there is cataclysmic, monumental, catastrophic, calamitous, ruinous, absurd lunacy.

You managed to transcend all of the above.

Hey, look on the bright side. This is an achievement of sorts.

Here is how I think you have a better chance of making money than from trading Forex:
  • Borrow £10,000 from a loan shark charging about 50% a week interest.
  • Find a member of the Russian Mafia. Not sure where, but Moscow would be a good bet and failing that, try Soho in London.
  • Hand him your £10,000 and ask him to look after it.
  • Return to said Mafia member a week later and ask for your money back, plus interest.
  • Recover from the resulting broken bones.
  • Return to the loan shark and ask for sympathy.
  • Recover from the resulting broken bones.
Dimwit, SHF is not the place for lazy and stupid people. Even so, I will offer you a teensy tad of mercy and suggest this: READ THE DAMN .PDF IN POST 1 YOU GORMLESS BLOCKBRAIN.

So English is not your first language? Tough. It is not the first language of the Italian then German gentlemen running the back end of this forum. Then take me. You think there are no good reasons why I do not 'contribute' to forums whose language is anything other than English? OK, so occasionally US American, but we can forgive them their aberrations.

In future, dunderhead, your attempted posts will be intercepted by a moderator and only accepted if they bear a vague semblance to something remotely resembling intelligence. For sure, I am not holding my breath whilst waiting for this to happen.

PM me again and your ban will follow as certainly as pooh follows a cow.

Hello Steve.

Just jumped from forexfactory to your forum and get really interested now in the HGI indicator. I read something about it at forexfactory but I'd like to join the Original ;)

I got the link from TimeFX.

Hello everyone, how have your HGI trading results been this week? Mine have been abysmal  :arrrg:
So I wondered if someone else had similiar experiences or if it was just me. I traded on the H4 and H1 charts. Bad week for HGI or my own fault? (I'm still trading on demo-account)

HI all,

I've had a good week in limited trading, but it might be because I've been trading 5 and 15 minute timeframes. Working full time now, but on days when I get to work remotely I'll pick a couple of pairs for the day (often EURGBP, GBPUSD or NZDUSD). I try to stack trades on HGI signals until I get to the end of the London trading day and then look for a good exit. I usually follow Bob's daily pivot and and/or look for SMA 60 below SMA90 on sell trades like this one. I still use the 10.2 TMASlope just because I like the visual.

Happy trading everyone! Monday is a holiday here in the U.S. :yahoo:

Hi Danyblu,
Like you, I trade manually off the 4hr and 1hr charts. I want to give you a perfect example of why trading has been difficult this week. I am citing GbpUsd. Up to yesterday, all my signals lined up perfectly with Hgi, Peaky, and all my other indicators giving me the go-ahead for a nice swing reversal. All my trades were locked in.

After the news event Gu spiked up and all my sell trades were taken out with small profits. You will see in the chart below that my Hgi sell blue wavys disappeared and I now have a buy blue wavy, anyway as we all know Hgi gives a signal in the here and now. It is an edge and at least for myself I could say around 70% success rate, but there are no guarantees. All my other indicators are pointing up for buy trades. I hate to buy in this area though looking at my peaky high and weekly res 1 and I wouldn't be surprised if they smash it down today being Friday and going into month-end. Anyway, we need to use discretion.

Lastly, Eu has been a much easier pair to trade with the same perfect signals as GbpUsd. Unlike Gu, EurUsd working in the direction of my Hgi signals.

A quick summary from the above points:
Discretion,
Here and now,
70% success rate,
If a pair become difficult look for another pair to trade or don't trade at all.
Lastly, beware of the news.

Hang in, there will be better days to trade.
Hope it helps
Cheers
Leon.

Thanks for your reply, I've seen you have your own thread/method of HGI trading. I will try to learn about it next to get a better feel of detecting good trades.

One more question: I've felt like holding positions overnight was unreasonable, because lately the signals often disappeared or reversed when I wasn't looking for some hours. When are you closing your positions? Or are you using an EA to close them? You have a lot of experience with HGI, would you say there is a timespan a signal (big arrow) should be valid for? Reading through your thread will probably give me some answers as well.
Thanks again!

Very interesting to use signals on the 5-15 minute timeframe throughout the whole day! I might try that out myself. I'm not familiar with Bob's daily pivot, can you point me in the right direction to read about it?
