Concerning the disappearing act of the dashboard, it may have something to do with compiling the program under Cowboy IBFX as opposed to another such as FXDD. If the .mq4 version was published here we could test to see it that is the source of the problem.
Huuummmmm..That's Interesting.

I test it on FXCM Empty4, and .mq4 version was published on post 1.philcs65 wrote:Concerning the disappearing act of the dashboard, it may have something to do with compiling the program under Cowboy IBFX as opposed to another such as FXDD. Re: A simple dashboard for NB10.2(updated 2012/6/5)
Hi Everyone! I'm back.
The problem seems to be there is no zero divide check in the original TMA indicator. When you have all the history data the indi works fine, but when you haven't, the TMA function will return some zero value and cause the zero divide problem and stop the dashboard.
I've checked every lines of code and add some zero divide check to the TMA calculation functions I copied from the original TMASlope indicator, then everything works find.
If you see lots of 0 in the dashbaord, please wait for a while, the Empty4 is downloading the histroy data.
The Cowboy IBFX terminal build 432 works OK. I will check more brokers later.
Please download the lastest dashboard in post 1.

Code: Select all
if (dblSumw==0) return (0);//a check
return( dblSum / dblSumw );
Code: Select all
if(atrMTF ==0) return(0); //a check
double hh = ( dblTmaMTF - dblPrevMTF ) / atrMTF;

I figured it out. My broker has a weird suffix on the pairs. I went into the code and changed that and now its working.
Maybe others who are having problems are for the same reason.

Got the same.
On my Cowboy IBFX MINI it works after i add "m" suffix to each pair in the code - otherwise screen is blank.
