Hi Sgn, I am so glad that Hgi and my manual trading system is helping you. It is an edge and unless you live it and study it day by day you will never feel it. I always have a hunch that my Hgi signal is going to come up, It is a part ingrained in me over the years even though I don't know the coding behind it. I thank Nanningbob for bringing this to us,

Many thanks for your response. I patiently wait for the HGI signals upon 34 MA corss, My exit strategy is a bit different, I rely on the precision trend alerts, if both alerts turn red then I exit instead waiting for opposite crossing and/or HGI opposite signal, and rejoin when the trend continues, so whatever I gained never lost. This approach requires constant monitoring and attention. My experience shows its worth.

Do you spot "the precision trend alerts" with an indicator? If so, I can quickly knock up an EA that will monitor the position and do the closure for you.

Attached is the order closing EA. I have called it a 'manager' but all it does is monitor the precision indis and close buys when both lines are red and sells when they are green. It does nothing when the colours are mixed. I tested all this on Friday and all appears well.

Manually entered trades have a magic number of 0, so that input only needs changing if you are using scripts to send orders with a different magic.

It is a multi-symbol EA, so it goes on one chart only.

I have attached Nair's original indis for the convenience of having everything in one place. These you put on your charts. You do not need to redownload if you already have them.

Calls to custom indicators become less and less reliable the more inputs they have. The two 'for management' versions are the ones called by the EA; they have all the unwanted inputs removed. They go in your /Platform/Indicators folder but are not needed on your charts.

A request to indi coders. So far as I can tell, the line is green when there is a price in buffer 1. The line is red when buffer 1 is EMPTY_VALUE. Would you mind running your eyes over the indi code to confirm this, please?
