The indicator unfortunately isn't using buffers for the ADR high and low, Steve or someone may be able to code it to use buffers though in which case it would be easy to do what you want, hopefully someone can do this for you my friend.fx800 » Mon Nov 22, 2021 11:21 pm wrote:Hi Wallywonka,
I have often noticed that price tend to reverse after hitting ADR high or ADR low. Is it possible to set TDesk UBD to go long when price hits ADR high and go short when price hits ADR low ?
Thanks in advance.

Fx800 There You Go.
Buffer0 for ADRHIGH , Buffer1 for ADRLOW.
Please note that your original Indi seems to be off against OPEN. Put modified version on the chart to see how much bands deviate for Current Bar from original indicator lines. I did some visual checks and Red lines seem ok and exactly at Open +/- ADR.
Hope that helps.
Cheers

EDIT: I need to work more on it.

Thanks for the correction !
This tends to occur during retracements. Place D1 SS at the bottom window. This one today did not quite reach ADR high, but last week there were a string of them one after the other. One could possibly capture those trades using TDesk.

Haha on NZDJPY for today i have a perfect fit too. lol
It seems that when any of Brown doted lines is breached than it gets overwritten with blue lines marking High and Low of the day. I am still trying to figure out how brown lines are not at Daily OPEN +/i atr.

A different broker feed meant the price reached ADR high on your chart. This is the kind of trade I was talking about. When ADR hi or lo has been breached, the line turns from brown to blue.lemur6666 » Tue Nov 23, 2021 12:13 pm wrote:Haha on NZDJPY for today i have a perfect fit too. lol

If we can get the UBD working, just add Baluda D1 SS. When the ducks line up, send a sell/buy grid. How more simple can you get.
OR add ADR high/low to SPB EA, voila ! If only I know how to code.
OR make the indi TDesk compatible.

Ok guys. I have spent more time on it that I really wanted. Enclosed is version 28. It seems to me that brown lines are at 2xADR not at 1xADR. Try using AtrDevisor if you want to switch from 1 to 2xADR by changing it from 1 to 0.5.
I did not touch Brown lines so disregard them unless you believe 2xADR makes more sense.
I recommend to use atached !SM_ADR_marker as a reference and Daily ATR as further alignment check.
Make sure you set ATR period in them all at 10 days
