hey hamzanabil,

thanks for sharing your settings. I'm not sure if this plays a huge part in the the operation of your settings, but a couple of indicators are missing from the default chart template - SlopyBuffersTwo.ex4 and Daily open line.ex4 (have attached them)

I'm using both your standard settings plus a version I've modified to use about 1/3 of the TP and SL. So far they've both been doing good, but recently the modified demo with the reduced SL and TP opened a couple of GBPAUD sell trades. the first one closed out for a small loss as expected, but the second one which was opened on Friday, has sailed right past the 15 pip SL* - and the trade is currently about -300 pips in floating open loss.

*I don't know if what I'm about to say is a red herring / unrelated issue, or it's connected to this one, but if I attempt to put a SL in pips, a message 'individual pair basket has hit SL' keeps popping up. It doesn't seem to mind if a TP in pips is there, but a SL in pips causes this issue. Hence in the settings the SL has been set to the rough cash equivalent of around £3.50


Can anyone please have a look at my settings and let me know what's going on? That would be greatly appreciated. I've attached the settings I'm using with Sharky for the UBD template

Hello , no the missing indicators are not required ,you need to restart your platform , i had the same issue but with other setups long time ago , i don't know why but sometimes desky doesn't take any decision. The settings i shared were just an experiment ( it works but it s not optimal i can still filter a lot of bad trades and enhance entries and exists which will improve drastically this setup ), i will share my final settings once I'm confident they replicate my manual trading .

Desky has no independence. He reacts solely to information sent to him by TDesk. You set up TDesk to send him information that does not suit you, that is your fault.

The settings i shared were just an experiment ( it works but it s not optimal i can still filter a lot of bad trades and enhance entries and exists which will improve drastically the winrate right now its about 50%), my current setup is doing better than the last one i reduced some indicators and i added some filters to make sure it doesn't trade after a substantial movement has already taken place.I will share my final settings once I'm confident they replicate my manual trading .

I'm going to hazard an interpretation of what hamzanabil said, as although his English is very good, there are a couple of tells that it isn't his first language.

I think what he meant by that is that sometimes Desky (or in this case Sharky) doesn't act on the information it has received. In this case leaving a trade open, which has currently reached -£54 loss, when the cash SL is £3.50

Yes that's what i meant , Check your Friday stop trading hour maybe that's why sharky didn't react .
