Second : a Buy or Sell / Stop / previous candle order is also much better!
Third : size lot calculator and TP on adaptive in pips

1+2+3 = much better and more logical strategy

I mentioned this before but current version still seems to be placing additional trades. Using UTC and the defaults it should be placing trades at 7:05 and 12:05 which for the most it does. But then some days having closed the 7:05 or 12:05 for a profit, it then opens a new basket at 8:00 or 13:00, which in todays case led to a sizable loss.

I am not a coder so no idea where to start to try and find the reason for this.

I will put this bluntly. What we have here is a simple trading strategy using two filters known to be good. You want something else? Tough. You are not going to get it here.

This EA will succeed or fail as it is. I do have ideas for future implementation but that is up to me and I will not publish them until I have tested them.

Since Jun 6 Scalpy, London = +611 pips; NY = -755 pips. On GB Demo.
For the moment I stop playing scalpy OOTB to devote myself to it manually with my improvements.
And not all day in front of my PC! lol

Interesting you are using the 15min timeframe for Bob's moving average. I was considering using a shorter timeframe after this weeks losses. Afterall we are trying to close a basket within an hour or two at the most, so the longer term MA doesn't have as much relevance.

Don't get me wrong, Bob's MA is legendary on this forum and has proven to be a very useful tool, but perhaps using a shorter time period will help this strategy. Certainly worth testing out. Perhaps this was what Celte83 was trying to say but unfortunately for him he went about it in totally the wrong way. In my view you don't criticize the geniuses that have worked on this forum, and in fact own it, for years.

Also noted you only had one trading time of 8 (broker time), so I presume you aren't trading the NY session?
