I hacked at MADTrader1.1 to implement my own suggestion and improved it to the point where I'm tired of it and confused. It has more switches now but I don't know how to use them effectively. Of note are:

* FixedLotSize
* Min Distance Pips between orders
* MaxPosPerSide (can open multiple positions)
* HedgeLoser (make net position LotSize)
* LogDebug (rudimentary debug logging)

Do yourself a favour. Contemplate the distance between Rene first posting and now. Contemplate the the distance between the previous post to yours. Then ask yourself, "Is there a reason for these time lapses?"

I've been reading the thread thoroughly and backtesting different settings. Mostly the settings are explained in the thread and there is a lot of backtesting done by Wavegarrick thanks to him and 919gilead for the idea.
Smaller timeframes create a lot of gains but also give back those gains and there is a simple workaround that by using trademanager like MPTM or APTM both are great.

MADTrader has almost all the settings like SL TP and Basket exit conditions but sometimes the StopLoss is big due to lot size. I've reduced "Lotsize per 100 PIPs ATR" and tried different value.

Suggestion: (Risk Per Trade in Amount)
Please if Mr. Rene has the time to add "Risk Per Trade in $Amount" in MADTrader settings it would be wonderful.

I want to ask whether anyone here is still using the MADTrader1.1 expert advisor or the MADDY series of indicators on current Empty4 builds. Both files load and initialize without errors, but the expert advisor does not execute any trades even after full initialization. The logs show normal status messages, yet no orders are triggered.

Before assuming that the configuration is outdated, I want to confirm whether there are traders who still use this system and can confirm that it works as expected on the latest Empty4 versions. Any recent experience, performance notes, or compatibility information would be helpful.
