Bob and Jem and Shelley's Pivot Basket auto-trader

I'm kinda confused. Please pardon my stupidity guys, but I'm trying to find the difference between this and the thread "ShelleyJem. Fantastic collision of accident and analysis". Can someone enlighten me? Much appreciated

The old one used 5.1 ma to trigger and the TMA outer bands to show a retracement.
This one uses a close below daily pivot for a retracement and then a close above to trigger.

Baskets are great and all but I prefer to do them manually. I'm having such success with my system that I wont be trading this EA as a basket trader. I will be trading it as single pairs and here's how you do this:

Put the EA on a chart and Set PairsToTrade blank and the EA will insert the chart symbol and the ea becomes a single pair trader.

The only change I'd make to the EA is an OPTION to:
(for a buy) Only enter trades when the daily pivot is above the weekly pivot which is above the monthly pivot
(for a sell) Only enter trades when the daily pivot is below the weekly pivot which is below the monthly pivot

That only takes a few seconds to add, so I will post the update later.

Only thing I need in this EA is an EMAIL option. I would like to run it on my VPS, and when it takes a trade, send me an email.

Then I can confirm the trade parameters for possible real trade or at least add to the watch list for basket trade when I have enough qualifiers.

Version 1b in post 1. Copied from the updated details:

- SendAlertNotTrade: tells bjs to show an alert and send an email when a trade is triggered, but not actually send the trade.
- SendAlertWithTrade: tells bjs to show an alert and send an email when a trade is sent.
- EnforceTripleAlignment: if 'true' (the default) all three pivots must line up to allow a trade.

I have a suggestion.
There are quite number of us who is going to test this new wonderful gem.
But in order to make our efforts structured and statistically sound lets split up into groups.
Let each group test the auto-trader with a certain set of parameters. Then it will be easy to compare and analyze the results. Lot size doesn't matter. We'll be monitoring profit/loss pips.
Now, for example:

1st Group set:
CriminalHasSundayCandle = true (for those criminals that this option is applicable, if not then look 2nd Group set)
SlopeTimeFrame = 1440
SlopeBuyLevel = 0.6
SlopeSellLevel = -0.6
PivotCrossTimeFrame = 240

2nd Group set:
CriminalHasSundayCandle = true
SlopeTimeFrame = 1440
SlopeBuyLevel = 0.45
SlopeSellLevel = -0.45
PivotCrossTimeFrame = 240

3rd Group set:
CriminalHasSundayCandle = true
SlopeTimeFrame = 240
SlopeBuyLevel = 0.6
SlopeSellLevel = -0.6
PivotCrossTimeFrame = 60

4th Group set:
CriminalHasSundayCandle = true
SlopeTimeFrame = 240
SlopeBuyLevel = 0.45
SlopeSellLevel = -0.45
PivotCrossTimeFrame = 60

5th to 8th Group set:
the same as above but with
CriminalHasSundayCandle = false

Of course there may be other checking-worthy combination too.
This was just an attempt to make our job a bit easy and structured.
If you find this reasonable then let's split up and try.

No need for all that complex organization. It is quite easy to run multiple copies of Empty4 by Drag & Drop your original folder to the C: drive.

So set up your first copy with all required Indicators & EA's, make 5 copies, go into each and set the EA parameters for the pairs traded, sit back and watch all the results yourself.

You can even name each copy of Empty4 as Group 1, Group 2 and so on for easy indentification.
