Q: Any particular data elements preferred for feedback other than the closing balances?
A: If the results are promising, definitely the settings file. Important figures are the closing equity, the maximum drawdown, the lowest margin level seen and the average return per week, each expressed as a percentage value.

Good afternoon all,

Alright, we're up and running. Four ICMarkets MT5 demos running.

Demo 1: Using Thomas' set file, on all tradeable majors and minors
Demo 2: Using Thomas' set file, on all tradeable majors and minors, with trailing stop enabled
Demo 3: Using Thomas' set file, on all tradeable majors, minors and exotics
Demo 4: Using Thomas' set file, on a range of crypto, metals and commodities

Let's see how things develop!

Obviously, I am doing something daft. I have 2 Empty4 installations on the same VM which as far as I can tell are identical (I also have Paycheck running on another machine so I know the problem isn't Paycheck). On 1 Paycheck is running fine while on the other I get the following error message: zero divide in 'Paycheck-Commons.mqh' (197,41)

I've tried all the Empty4 settings and tricks that I can think of and nothing seems to work. It seems particularly strange as I set up both at the same time following the same steps.

Any help is appreciated, but in the meantime I'll attempt another fresh instal.

BTW: With the one that is working I am using OOTB settings but with the Dyanic Basket 'on'.

I was expecting a number of positions to have opened this morning, but Paycheck is stating "Waiting for next month to start". I have tried a few obvious things (removed EA, deleted GVs, changed the magic number) but with no change to its status. It states that 24/24 markets are open, and my TradingStartTime is set to 03:00, with MondayStartTime set to 08:00. The current server time is 09:39. I did test this out at the end of last week, in November, and it opened positions. There is nothing in the log to indicate any error - everything appears to be fine.
Is there something obvious I'm missing :?:

Yes - that was it. It was set to 5, which I thought was OK (as in today is the 5th trading day of the month), but changed to 7 and now live. Thanks

The beta version doesn't count trading days, just calendar days. The next version will count trading days. You thought right, I just implemented it different.
