May I suggest some improvements on MPTM if you keen and if it is worth it, as follows:
1. Please add feature 'Remove TP' after breakeven hit and trailing activated, so it will depending on SL trail shifting only.

2. For Global Equity target setting input, in this case we choose target on equity i/o balance,
please also add cash$ target adder beside using percentage (current equity + $target), so it will be static compounding instead of dynamic if using percentage.

MPTM is quite good as it is. I am not going to try to add features that a member cannot even articulate clearly.

Thanks for sharing this fantastic system and just wondering if someone has encountered this problem. I set the BE to true, pips to BE=25, pips profit to lock = 10; also set JSL=10 as well. But the demo testing outcome was shown below, like the SL or BE equals to the entrance price

Would it be possible to define the SL and TP based on a percentage of the equity/balance?

Ex.: Always setting the SL to 0.5% of the balace or equity when trade is placed. Or having the MPTM hiddenly managing the SL and TP based on a defined account's percentage.

I don't know much of coding =/ but I'm trying to add some lines and see if I can figure it out. Decided to bring this up here to see if someone else has any leads.

Others might find this useful so I am going to code it.

Working out the percentage of balance/equity to set is easy - it is a simple formula.

I have no idea how to convert this into pips/price to send a 'hard' TP/SL. How about this instead, taking stop loss as the example?

• You send an emergency hard stop with the original trade.
• MPTM calculates the percentage of balance/equity cash stop loss and closes the trade if the loss on the order hits this amount.

Ditto for TP but looking for profit.

Here you are. Would you like to check it works before I update the user guide and screen display and put this version in post 1?

Scroll down through the inputs to find the new section, under the "Add a missing Take Profit" inputs.

You can also use mptm to add the emergency 'hard' stop loss.

The new feature works well! Even better than I thought, because it ended up working more like a hidden Sl/Tp and can help to fight the criminals' actions.

Only thing that I've noticed is that the closing price wasn't very precise comparing to the percentages set, ex.: 10k balance should have a $50 stop on 0.5% and it would come out $53ish. It wasn't by much but I think it's nice to just include a few lines on the guide about the non 100% precise so it's known beforehand. (I thought I was doing something wrong , but I guess it might be some slippage, etc... )

I'll definitely adapt to my strategy.

Just so you know, it was not you doing anything wrong.

MPTM checks everything once a second by default. A lot can happen in a second in the Forex markets.

Plus, MPTM has a lot to do every time it fires up. Granted, all happens at lightening speed on a modern machine but a lot is still a lot.

Even 'hard' TPSL is not guaranteed to close at the desired price, so imagine the vagaries of these based on lines drawn on individual charts or in this case, a cash-based TPSL recalculated every second.

I have finished adding the screen feedback display. I will update the user guide and post all the new stuff on Thursday.
