Dwain's SMACD indicator

Understood. I posted Mladen's original because I compiled your SMACD.mq5 file and the indicator showed this which I didn't understand:

I posted the code to the EA version of the SMACD indicator, which simplified the whole view (buy blue, sell red, close trades if not blue or red, and only open trades after a cross over) If you put both versions of SMACD on the same chart (with the same settings) you will see where I was headed.

Anyway, I've developed this same indicator in ThinkOrSwim and use it daily to trade options. I've found that with stocks, it's best used with a daily TF. Next step is to created it in TradingView and automate stock trading.

After communicating with dap711 in private messages and getting permission from tomele, I wanted to post the updated version of SMACD here for both Empty4 and Empty5.

I had mrtools, a prolific coder from the Forex-Station forum, take the initial mq5 file provided by dap711 and have the indicator ported into Empty4 (mq4). mrtools was also kind enough to create an updated Empty5 version AND provide the source code for both files.

So here they are in all their glory. Test them out, have fun, and let's see where they take us!

PS - I've consulted with mrtools for multiple indicator requests and he is a very good coder. I hope I'm not going too far with my plug but it's only fair I give him credit for his efforts.

I think I missed something .. if you look at when SMI and SMACD agree (same color) .. it appears to be a 100% win rate .. just saying ..

Dap711, I am truly sorry to hear about your illness...It touched me so much because my father is suffering from the same illness and I have took care of him for about 10 years now, and I know the kind of pains he goes through that is why I feel for you. Be good and get better.

Thank you all for the warm wishes .. I really appreciate it and it saddens my heart to know others suffer the same. If you didn't know, U.S. has severely cracked down on opiate use, and doctors are afraid to prescribe them. Lucky my primary doctor knew me very well and didn't hesitate to give them to me. He was a God send. I'm scheduled for a couple more surgeries next month and hopefully I'll be able to get back to a regular day, pain free.
