Hi, for the atrBE function, should it not be two inputs? Something like:

Break even profit ATR

Good morning,

using some features of the (excellent) MPTM for quite some time, now trying the jumping SL with BE, there seems to be a problem or I oversaw something:

1. Using function BE incl. Locking in x pips profit at BE and
2. Using function Jumping stop set to jump eyery x pips
3. incl. Only jump after BE has been achieved = TRUE

If using 1+2 without 3 (3 = FALSE), the jumping SL worked from trade exec, but
if using 1+2+3, the jumping SL seems not acting.

Anyone using this features too?
Anything I am wrong with it? - thanks a lot!

I will have a look and see if I can spot a bloop in the coding.

I have looked at the jumping stop code and noticed the need for an extra conditional, to cater for sell orders without a stop loss. I cannot se how this would cause josch's problem but try it and see.

If you want to DIY, go to void JumpingStopLoss(int ticket) and scroll down a few lines to the code block that handles JumpAfterBreakevenOnly

Scroll down 6 lines to: if(OrderType()==OP_SELL). Replace the existing code block with this:

I put your code from above into the mptm (replacing old one) and checked all twice. Result unfortunately is, that no jump is executed, neither buy nor sell.

Used settings are only few ones:
YES Manage only this pair
TRUE Use Break even Pips 8 Pips profit lock in 1
TRUE Jumping Stop loss Pips increment 10
FALSE Only jump after BE
TRUE Add SL if none set SL 30
TRUE Hide SL from broker Real SL 10
TRUE Add TP if none set TP Pips 50

It's my understanding that,
if trade profit 8+, BE is set and if price retraces, cover with 1+ (this is working)
if trade profit is 10+, jumping SL is activated to SL 10+
and next level to move the jumping SL should be 20+ (this is not working).

Just had a buy with 12+ without activity of the jumping SL and a sell with 14.5+.
Still I hope (or better not), that I was misunderstanding the rules, but read the manual line by line.
Hope you may be able to check the problem, if there is one in the expert code.
If helpful, I may send you the mql4 and set files.

I am reasonably sure that I tested each routine as I coded the manager but it is a long time ago, so I will check.

I have set up hedged buy/sells on demo and loaded mptm to manage just the pair. I have used your BE and JS inputs, so I can see what happens.
