Hopelessly confused by TDesk or Desky? Ask here.

Dear all,

I have TDesk running on some demo accounts, On one account TDesk is displaying different trade values from the actual open trades (screen shots attached):

- Some pairs are displayed properly eg. USDCHF
- Some pairs are not displayed properly eg. AUDCAD
- Some pairs are not displayed at all eg. AUDUSD

Can you kindly inform how to solve this issue.

Thanks for your prompt reply, I checked the magic number and start date as per your recommendation, and it was correct, as I us the same setting in other demo account without any problem.

Any other setting should I review?

can somebody tell me please, why Desky sometimes not opens all trades which meets the conditions?
Where could I have an mistake in the settings?

Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding TDesk 8.1
The function "Close all charts" does not close the charts anymore but instead closes the open trades.
I read that TDesk has an emergency exit but does that mean that there is no way to close all charts with one button?
What am I missing here?

Fix is already available. The "emergency exit" is in the "Account" window.

First I'd like to congratulate you for coding TDesk. What a masterpiece of work! Very elaborate, well thought out and so versatile. I can only imagine the amount of hours that must have gone into it's design, logic and coding.
My hat is off to you

I just loaded up v8.12 because of the trades closing bug. At some point I possibly experienced a similar issue with v7.5. IIRC I had used the ">>" button to open a chart at that time, and when I used the "Close all charts" link, it sometimes also closed all trades on the opened chart. I'm not sure if it is related to the fix you made from v8.1 to v8.12 but I just mention it in case it was. I don't seem to be able to reproduce that behaviour in v8.12. Could the fix you made be related to that past behaviour?

After loading up v8.12 however, I noticed another issue. When you click a "Details" link on the bottom row of any Trades (Pending/Open/Sum closed) columns when there are no actual trades showing in that column, I get this error in the Experts log:
TDesk XAUUSD,H1: zero divide in 'TDesk-Windows.mqh' (1278,44)

Subsequently, all clicks on any links seem broken and it takes a reload of the TDesk EA to get it to work again.
