Holding in there this week on reduced lot sizes - recent market is not the best for Goldy but holding now.

Hope to see more updates from everyone. I have one question and an observation:
1. I used the Friday stop trading time setting to test it out. It looks like the EA closed the positions after the time setting when the next equity target was met. It stayed flat for the rest of the day. But at the end of the day I had an equity spike down and a bunch of open trades. See attached. Not sure why that happened, not what I expected. I though it would stay flat until Sunday when it reset. Any thoughts please let me know.
2. One two identical setups I tried 0.5 hedge on one and 0.25 hedge on the other, expecting/trying to reduce the drawdown percentage. The setup with 0.5 hedge setting had half the drawdown compared to the 0.25 setting. Not what I expected. Anyone have data on different hedge settings? Staying with 0.5 for now.

Thanks for this. I had a look at the code and cannot see anything wrong. In fact, after G had sent the out-of-hours stop orders grid, she should have deleted them at the next tick because she was outside trading hours. This should have repeated until the markets closed if there is a code problem in detecting that there are no market orders to prevent the Friday shutting down.

I have tinkered with the code so we will have to wait and see if this solved the problem.

I suppose it is possible that the market was moving so quickly that the initial stop order filled by the time the next tick arrived, but not very likely unless the initial stop is ridiculously close to the market price.

I just had a thought.

I noticed that your pic did not show the chart feedback. This might be because you know how to disable it in code. Alternatively, it might be our old friend the 'divide by zero' error.

For those of you who do not know this, the divide by zero error stops an EA in its tracks. It still shows with a smiley face in the top right hand corner so we think it is still running but in fact it has stopped. I don't see how G would have stopped after sending the new basket but worthwhile checking.

Have a look in the Experts log file and see if there is a divide by zero error. This will tell me where to look if there is a coding fault causing it.

V 1f is in post 1. There is no need to rush to replace V1e with the latest. It occurred to me that members interested in trading in a specific direction can still take advantage of Goldy's grid trading elements if I make this possible. I have reintroduced my usual TradeLong and TradeShort inputs to allow users to set the direction of trade.

Rubbish week trading last week. Despite offsetting, a large gap on my demos still opened up then the market bounced around for most of the week, in the ground between the two groups.

I didn't see any divide by zero in the logs:

Looking at the current screen shot - it doesn't show the spike down from last friday. It looks like it was still trading?

Profit 400 € after the first week. I used the closing script 2x. At a time when no trade was open. Maybe a coincidence.
