New indicator, SlopeValues v1.0.0, in post 1.
SlopeValue, screen I.png
Simple indicator to show Slope value of all symbols, split by user defined levels. Useful for manual trading.

Enjoy!

Excellent - thanks - I had just changed the code to colour what I wanted to see when using manually - this is perfect.

The latest Slope Values is an excellent tool, visually easy to see the qualified pairs, but a question, should the formula be changed to >= 0.60 so that when they are exactly 0.60 they move into the 0.6 column?

See picture for example, thanks, John

I suspect that value was 0.597 or something like that -- less than 0.60, but it rounded to 0.60 for display purposes.

DWNPivots, screen I.png
Indicator shows daily, weekly and monthly pivots including support and resistance lines. This one is highly configurable.

Let me know if this one finds a place on your charts. If you need changes, let me know.

Enjoy,

Paul
Hey Paul, just testing this out. This is an amazing indicator. I just went from having 6 pivot indicators on my charts to 1. I will include this in my next release for my basket trading thread. You really know what you're doing. Now to play around with SlopeValues :D

Snowman,

Exactly what Gary says, this is a trivial rounding & formatting issue.

About Sunday candles and DWMPivots.

Cowboy IBFX has one of the nastiest price feeds in forex. It shows a 3:55 hour Sunday candle that messes up a lot of calculations, pivots are just one of them. DWMPivots corrects Sunday candles for the daily pivots this way:
  • Sunday candles show the pivot of the friday candles, no correction needed.
  • Monday candles would show the pivot of the sunday candle, corrected to show the preceding friday candle.
  • Tuesday candles show the pivot of the monday candle, the high and low of this candles have the sunday high and low included. So tuesdays show the pivot of sunday and monday combined.
Weekly and monthly pivots don't need any correction.

Excellent stuff Baluda.

The only thing I am concerned of is the emphasis on the TMA slope. Bob has always said not to place too much weight on them as they are not triggers for trades but only show strength.
So all the CSSDiff, Slopes, Crosses are good but the real help would be if dashboard is developed showing if DWM pivots are in line or not, if price is above or below them or not, if D1 close is above / below the MA lines (trending and not ranging). These help identify which pairs to trade and then go to TMA values to place bet on how many pips to get.

my 0.02

thanks
