Ok, I've closed for 750 pips. Biggest haul yet. Picture says a thousand words:

This week's action makes an argument for continuing to hold the pairs as long as they are over or under .80. I think NBob talks about this as a way of determining how long to stay in. Probably easier, psychologically, to TP then reset after retracement but, seems the bigger pips are there from holding on through.

I tend to agree. I got out because of news but now it's going to be hard to get back in. Have to wait patiently. Fortunately I'm enjoying the ride on A/F and E/A in another strategy so I don't feel totally left out.

Trade as you please Hans but you will get caught with your pants down trying to jump in at the bottom/top. Wait for a retracement. The rules are there for a reason.

Your right Jem , but I still would be in if there was no NFP today I will be out if it is not continuing this trend..

All I'm saying is wait for the best setup and take them. If you have the itchy 'I wanna be in just in case it moves' mentality you need to get rid of it to trade this (or anything) successfully.

You're so right, Jem, sometimes just jumping in works out quite well, but, they are what I think of as low probability entries. Unfortunately, I have the live results to prove it...
