Hi Amit,

I note it's a Sunday when you posted this, some indi's EA's etc need tick data to function. If you've loaded them on the weekend and your crim's trading platform isn't currently live then that's a possible reason. I haven't used this particular Ea, Indi combo, but maybe wait until Monday morning trade opens and then see, also you may need to reload them when live ticks are being generated.

Thanks for all the hard work guys - I have been waiting for the slope EA for a while as I agree with Jemook that this will be a "required" tool for all trades going forward.

When I came to open my new platform for this ea tonight, I immediately found some daft mistakes in the chart bars checking function. 1a corrects these.

Is this part of post 1 correct. Just want to make sure.

Chong's basic trading rules are these:

- trade long when:
- there is an up FB on the H4 chart.
- D1 Slope >= 0.6
- go short when:
- there is an up FB on the H4 chart.
- D1 Slope <= -0.6

No, it isn't - or wasn't until you posted this and I corrected it. Nice one.

Sell trades need a down FB. Bit scary that nobody else pointed out the bloop, so I wonder how many others read post 1 properly. Hmmmmmmmm

I think it was one of those things where your eyes see what your brain expects. Even though it said to go short when there is an up FB, people were seeing down FB because
that's what the brain was expecting. Sleep good Sir Hopwood.

Yeap saw that both up FB's, but had only just started reading the thread. So thought better read all the posts before I open my big mouth.
Then the grey cells forgot that little important typo when I got to the end of not even a whole 2 pages. LOL
