Flying Slope auto-trading EA

i wanted to test this flying slope ea.
i copied the smflyingbuddha signals v2 to the folder of experts and copied the indi flying slope to the folder indicators.
but when i am trying to load the ea nothing happens. when i am trying to open the flying slope indi in a chart also nothing happens.
i must be doing something wrong. but don't know what.
maybe someone on this forum has an idea?

You might want to remove both and then load them the other way round.......

btw after placing the ea on the chart, i am getting the following message:
'listen turnip-brain, which bit of
DO NOT USE THIS ON A LIVE ACCOUNT YET. ITS EXPERIMENTAL.
from post 1 do you not get? this EA is disabled'
after clicking the message away it comes again and again and again..

i almost don't dare to ask, but have i overlooked something again?

just as it says, its experimental and should be attached to DEMO accounts.

thats the strange thing, i am using a demo account.

a very promising start indeed! steve can you share which pairs have trades open on your demo? and the name of the criminal.
i have had the EA running since early monday on H4 charts 16 pairs, FastFX demo. the only trade i have is a euraud short, open for 65 pips currently

FS one has made a promising start. 5 open trades, cumulative pips profit c. 240 and roughly 2% of the balance. I am letting them run to see how the bot closes them.

The pic has everything.

No trades. After seeing ur screen shot i noticed that your version says 1a. Mine still says version 1 despite having downloaded it just ten minutes back ( again). Screen shot attached.

What could be wrong

i just noticed that as well, my one which has only fired off one trade, i thought was v1a but it says version 1 on the information readout.

hmm..will redownload again now and fire it up on my original FastFX demo and also Cowboy IBFX demo a la steve.


UPDATE: redownloaded the EA from the first post, installed fresh on an Cowboy IBFX demo, still says "version1" in the information readout. Steve,any input would be much appreciated.

Guys, check on page 3 of this very long thread and you will see that Steve already mentioned that the version in post 1 is indeed the fixed version "v1a" despite what is says in the mq4 file. This would not affect the performance of the EA.

But Id like to bring to your notice that all Steve said was that he didn't change the name of the EA to version 1a.....which means script changed but ONLY name name not changed..... however , his screen shot will tell you that the version it says is 1a unlike ours.

So there is a mismatch here. Despite the name not being changed " cosmetically" to 1a ... we still have his screen shot saying 1a ( part of coding ) but mine says 1 ...

that's the discrepancy.

Well to make it looks like Steve's version I guess you could edit the mq4 file with your Empty4 and add an "a" next to "version 1" which will make it a version "1a", compile and save
