Jem,

I must be missing something on the G/U and G/C. Are you selecting those from the pivot order because it seems the TMA slope is too low? :?

Bunker - my br0ker doesn't have CADCHF so it's not in my list.
Spydie - GBPUSD is -.42 so I'm considering it. GBPCHF is .74 so definitely watching that one.

This system is the next best thing after….(you can complete that statement )
I would like to get the opinion from anyone familiar with this system on the following:
Once the price retraces to DP (or 5.1), do you rely on the Slope Value to determine if it is, in fact, only a retracement versus a trend reversal ?
In other words, can the slope displays (let’s say) 0.7 while a sell trend reversal is happening ?
Thank you all for your valuable input. I don’t know how many mentors I have here on this Forum!! But a lot of you contributed make my trading experience extremely enjoyable.

Bunker

ps: Spyderman, thanks for the question...I was also wondering...

Jemook - thanks for your fast reply!!

since about an hour after London open. Now +160pips. The Aud and Nzd pairs were mostly on the wrong side of the D pivots.

I don't think you are following NBShellJem's guidelines with that basket. (But if it works for you...)

Baluda, which ones are not according to the guidelines? All slopes were over .6, pivots in order and retracement to one or both D pivot/5ma. Not all necessarily went through to the other side and back, but close enough trigger, especially with those fat slope values. Cable was a late entry and the tma was not as high but, the rest were triggering and it had momentum along with the eurodollar so, I went with them too.

Now that's weird...And now I'm worried. I show -.3 daily and -.2 H4. Why would I be getting different readings. I've always matched everyone before?

Yes Bunker, your question is Absolutely important here, specially for newb. What does it mean is in the retracement phase (move) The Slope value does not mean nothing. Like you said for AUDCHF displays today +1.27 (green pair and normally good for BUY) which is absolutely a suicide if you rely just with this parameter and take a BUY. AUDCHF has fallen 85 pips. So considering Slope value alone is not sufficient. You have to consider the move and the MM5 and Pivots.
I don't know if Jerem or other Master could explain how he consider in this situations the information given by other indicators like NeoTrader NT-CSS... Any clarifications about this aspect, masters ?

Harry,

All your pairs are according to the guidelines. My remark is about the exclusion of the AUD and NZD pairs. Guidelines state that those should be included in a basket because the slope values tells us so. But again, we are talking about guidelines, not about rules.
