Do you have any trades open with PFGBest Brian? I was wondering because I still have 14 open trades, all full lot or mulitple lot sizes.... I get a statement at the end of every day from PFGBest but I have no control over these open trades.

Re MFGlobal - pleased that you recovered your money but those of us in the Australian entity are still waiting for even a smell of a refund from MFGlobal.

I have $23K tied up by them since they failed in November 2011.

Now did I tell you I am/was/still are pissed off

wow. I cant imagine having that many trades open and being able to see them and having no control over them! that would drive me totally bat shit crazy!

to have your money frozen is terrible aslo! I hope you get you accounts and trades taken care of asap. and that by the time they do that they are in much profit

As I write this, they are all still open. None have been offset or liquidated as they say they have done. I'm sure the futures accounts have all been closed out, but what of our forex accounts?

I read that the positions have been liquidated but I get the statement as well that shows 3 open position, all in profit (for now). So that makes me feel any better?

I heard a while back about the Aussie's having refund issues, you better go out of country for your broker, seems like your regulator is lame. Hopefully the government will step up and fork over some cash. Are we living in the dark ages here, holy f***k. Did the USA guys get all their cash back from MF Global?

You guy should check the IROC web site, I put the link earlier in this thread. See if it covers non-Canadians with accounts in Canada. It's basically a government fund that protects the investor up to 1 million bucks fr these types of situations.

There's only a few offshore brokers who take US clients. We are forced to use these so called regulated US brokers for our safety. Go figure that one out. Anyway, the founder of PFGBest was arrested today by the FBI and so more details were released about his suicide note:

The complaint cites a note said investigators found when responding to Wasendorf’s suicide attempt Monday morning:

“I have committed fraud. For this I feel constant and intense guilt. I am very remorseful that my greatest transgressions have been to my fellow man. Through a scheme of using false bank statements I have been able to embezzle millions of dollars from customer accounts” at PFGBest.
