This is an issue. If we are trying to be specific with our slope value readings it would be good for everyone to be on the same page.

I assume your Cowboy IBFX is GMT+0? The Sunday candle may be messing me up, but if you've got a Sunday candle too that wouldn't explain the differences between your Cowboy IBFX and my Cowboy IBFX.

My bad, in setting up the new Cowboy IBFX feed I set up Slope on H4. Here's my D1 Slopes, and now GBPUSD matches yours. So it probably IS the Sunday candle.

Following the discussion on Slope and Sunday candles on Cowboy IBFX I have made a new beta version of SlopeValues, v1.0.2ß.

This version skips any Sunday candle for its major slope calculation on D1.

I can only test this on Cowboy IBFX and FXOpen. Could anyone please test this on any other broker and see how the Slope values hold up before I release this publicly.

Thank you,

Paul

Hi Paul,

again, you delivered a nice pice of work. Thanks a lot for your Indicators.
I use the accounts of 3 brokers : Alpari(UK), Bully Pepperstone, SIG-Trader. The bias are almost the same.
Have a nice weekend !

Hello all,

I was thinking about how we can introduce TMA true Slope to currency Indexes ? During the trading day, lot of small moves are happening to major pairs in order to deal with crosses . For example EJ. We know that EJ is construced from EU-UJ, and it would take small movement in Euro and Jen, in order to move EJ. This would reflect on TMA and give us false move on EJ. I think, if we apply TMA true to indexes, it would also give us a refference how strong move is, and which pairs are moving most. Not to mention how valuable would be information of Dollar index TMA slope. What do u think ?
