Australia - My Home

I am very fortunate to live in Australia! It is a beautiful country and I am proud to be Australian. We have so many beautiful places and such contrasts in our landscape from beaches to deserts, mountains and rainforests, cities to small country towns and flora & fauna not found anywhere else in the world.

I would like to share my country with the members here in Steve's forum and invite my fellow Aussies here to also post their photos. The photos posted are in no particular order, and I have not personally visited all these places, but am in awe of the beauty they all contain.

This is definitely an international forum and it would be great if other members start threads dedicated to their countries, to give us all an opportunity to experience and appreciate where we all call 'Home' and broaden our knowledge of the World Around Us!

Great pictures of OZ. Was down there in March, April this year weather was fab, my daughter works in University of New South Wales and lives in Cronnulla !!!. Small world we live in, back in Blighty now in our summer ( hasn't stopped raining ) miss the beach will be back in New year.

Cronulla is beautiful, I am well and truly a Melbournian now, but if I did ever go back to NSW, then I definitely would want to live back at Cronulla.

We've had a pretty wet, cold winter this year (by our standards)...so looking forward to Summer!
