Steve I think that is what is happening and makes sense. I think the White box will be absolutely terrific with slope from what I am seeing. Can't wait to see this on Demo later today.

Turned slope off for counter trend and everything looks great so far. Slope big plus for White Box I think though.

EA's are fun and all but my advice to everyone on this forum is learn to trade this stuff manually.

I second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth this.

If you jump around trying to get these crazy EA's to work you are wasting time unless you understand 10.2 / The Beast and know what they are doing.

Trading an EA on demo can be useful as a signal service for manual trading decisions.

You can use tradesender or MT4i for emailing trades taken via an EA on demo. Smart phones are the go, for monitoring and controlling accounts, both live and demo. Empty4 for iPhone is great. ( Although runs the battery down when run continuously ).

Viewed this way, instead of an Expert Advisor, rather an Elemental Assistant.

I put it to my patients this way... Life is for living - not looking at! It's your body; and you have to live in it for the rest of your days - not me! One thing I can tell you though... If you get actively involved in your recovery, regardless of your doubts, fears, worries and woes, three time-tested and proven things will happen - 1) your recovery time will be 50-60% less, 2) It will also be 50-60% more successful and 3) You will live longer! Your choice!

Jemook, as I see it; robots will let me trade when I otherwise couldn't - until I can! But, as you, Steve, et al so aptly put it ... Robots will never, never, ever replace the thrill and satisfaction of live trading!

Yeah I think in the beginning with earlier versions of the beast, there was only the 1 way to select the sixths lines, then the chaserL option was added. I guess i just stuck with what worked for me early on.

The beast is truly a marvel - I've never seen anything like it for puling in regular money, as long as your safe with the options and trust it.

Looking forward to testing the new version, if nothing comes of it cool.

Are you two talking about "UseMax" and "UseChaserL" settings under -BarCount-? What is the difference between the two, please?

Ok guys, there is zero chance of the attached working first time. There is more chance of a Third Coming happening tomorrow (and no, that is not a typo). I am posting it here hoping that only those keeping up with this thread will try it out. Guys, if you haven't been keeping up with the thread, or know nothing about Slope, or know nothing about The Beast, then forget it and stick with the version in post 1.

It is an attempt to add Bunker's stuff to SB. Bear in mind that: SB's code is stupidly complex; I coded it at a time when I knew even less about structuring coding than I do now.

There is a new block of inputs - Bunker retrace trading. Basically, what should happen is this:
For a sell trade: D1 Slope is >= BunkerHtfBuyHoldLevel; H1 Slope is <= BunkerLtfSellLevel. Once the market rises again and Slope >= BunkerLtfSellCloseLevel, the trade is closed (in CountOpenTrades).

Vice-versa for a buy. SB uses the same Global Variable system to keep track of Bunker trades that it uses to keep track of White Box trades. Possibly.

Sorry I am not expressing this with Jem-style clarity, but it has been a heavy few days and I am tired. Anyone here who can understand and translate Steveese, please feel free to do so.

In visual mode bunker through out a bunch of buys in the right direction in the tester. Loading it on the Demo on 25 pairs and I will see what happens over night.

It took 3 trades as soon as I load it up (CADCHF, EURCAD, EN).

I definitely don’t have Jem-style clarity either, but here is what it looks like when using the OOTB values.

A sell retrace will occur when D1 > 0.8 (hence, confirming a strong Buy trend) and H1 < 0.4 (H1 taking a breath).

A Buy retrace will occur when D1 < - 0.8 (hence, confirming a strong Sell trend) and H1 > - 0.4 (H1 taking a breath).

Food for thought, maybe the close (let’s say for a CT Sell in a Bullish trend) should happen when PA crosses back 5.1 from bottom to top on H1 ? I’ll keep an eye on this!
