Flying Slope auto-trading EA

Strange. I just had it open orders on 4 different pairs - correctly following signals, but then instantly closed out 3/4. Leaving only my eurusd running.

I have Cowboy IBFX and had ECN set to true. Will set it to false to see if this occurs again.

Edit: Not sure what else it could be. I don't have any tp/sl set and the slope values are all correctly displaying. History is all correct and everything is 100%.

Steve put in code to automatically detect Cowboy IBFX. Whatever you select, ECN will always default to true for Cowboy IBFX. I'm still running 1b and I currently have four pairs open that are up 35 pips.

Could be your exit settings. I am using close on FB htf and close on htf slope ranging.

Perhaps, I went ahead and attached my FS setting. I know you use using 1b so I think some of the settings are changed.

Yup, that was my first goto point and all slopes were a good distance away from the close parameters.

Running 1b live and I can see some legs. Working on transferring the set over to the current version. I'd feel better if it had some scoobs/kiwi margin checks.

In the meantime, and for the few other people here who actually understand what is going on, how are we doing?

The reason I ask is, I have severe doubts about waiting for a Slope thingy to trigger a trade closure. This is based on the whole thrust of Slope, which I describe in post 1. Therefore, waiting for Slope to trigger a closure means the market has so far against the trade that it could turn from a magnificent winner into a loser.

Pre the latest mods last week, my demo made 4% without taking any real risk. Real risk would have quintupled the account.

Today, waiting for Slope to trigger a closure, the open trades were at one point another +4%. Normal opposite direction FB's would have closed them and locked in the profit. Because I am awaiting a Slope-triggered closure, most of this profit has disappeared.

This is not to say that said profit will not reappear tomorrow and extend, and that this time tomorrow I will be reporting +10% Frankly, I doubt it. My experience of Forex is this: when profit is going, take it, as it will not be there in a few minutes time.

Anybody else has a similar experience?

In fact, I decided to do so whilst thinking about it. V 1d in post 1 has the filters.
