Yes, especially when the trend starts in Asia, then it is very likely to retrace by NY after running through two sessions.

hans, I discussed this in assuming that if you (and others) want trade from H1 is because you want a better timing (Jemook words in post 1: Timing is absolutely essential with this . . . ) in this case, may be you want to have this mtf MA in your H1 charts.
I've been playing with it and it seems promising to give a little more information about retracements in Jemook style.

dentiok thanks for you input, I think we doing the same thing if you colour you yellow Ma blue and dump the blue one.

Using a 1H timeframe makes my line chart just smoother and the Ma projected on it is the 4H Ma5 .
So I always trade from a 4H vieuw , like trading the 4H candles chart templates from post 1.
and I try to keep my chart as clean as possible, keep it simple please..no extra lines to clutter up my screen.

Been a tough one for me too, Hans. On Friday I had +400 pips and gave it all back to a Euro rip at about the same time it happened today. I got out with +90 today, but, put another basket on after what looked like the end of the retrace and am now looking at -250. I need to set up the trade manager and set trailing stops, can't monitor it every minute.

Harry what is or was you break even setting??
I missed mine on 5 pips short in which case it would save me a lot of DD.
But cheer up forex market will be there for us tomorrow

I don't have the EA set up yet, Hans, thus, have to keep an eye on it, but, the spikes happened so fast, I didn't have time to get out. Friday, I just wasn't there when it hit my target: 400pips...

I just leave my shelleynow on that give you a stoplos, breakeven and TP for the whole basket in my case an adaptive stoploss for 50 pip which give you for 8 pairs a close basket at -400 pips.

Hey Hans, thx very much for that. I'll let it loose on the next basket as per your settings, which I like.
Are you still in that basket? I'm down 150 pips net on the day, still holding. Most shorts are under the DP and longs over DP with some exceptions and slope values are still high, so, worth holding, I think.

Yes I'm still in, and close to my Stoploss now which a bit of luck it will survive tonight
If not it will close at -400 as stated earlier.

Today seems like many pairs doing deep retracement. I am watching these pairs, will check pre LO to fire them, if set up is firm.

SELL: EURJPY, CHFJPY, EU, EURNZD, EURGBP, EURCAD, EURAUD

My EURNZD is 15pips spread by Alpari UK!! Anyone this high? Thats why I tried not to trade this pair.

All same pairs as me, and NO, spread is not that on AxiTrader, only 4, and 4.8 on Cowboy Go Markets
