Before the holocaust My father's mother was married with 5 children–she lost her husband and all her kids to Hitler. My father's father was married with 6 children and he lost his wife and all his children to Hitler. After having lost their entire families they met for the first time in Auschwitz and promised each other that if they both made it out alive they would meet up at a certain place and time and get married. He was saved by Schindler and she made it out somehow too and they got married and had my dad and his sister.
My father and mother are my heros and there's nothing he wouldn't do for our family. My parents had 7 kids. 3 of them are married with 2 kids each and are spread out in Australia, Israel and South Africa.
Thanks to Schindler there's about 20 of us running around living a beautiful and plentiful life.
In regards to the holocaust - NEVER AGAIN.
