I am still using this EA to enter my trades. However, when I try to override the TP or SL by modifying it manually, the trade will revert back to the levels from the EA. Can anyone fix this or point me in the direction of what the cause may be?

FYI I am getting BB trades executing as well on the version that I am running. The multiple entries referenced above only appear with the D1/H4 trades. I believe it has to do with the stacking code. I have limited max trades to 3 positions. I need to change the stacking entry code so that it triggers at the correct levels instead of so close together.

hey panamamike....have you tried using MPTM to close trades. also, any chance you can share your setfile? thanks

I will try that next, however I don't see how it will make a difference for the better and may end up creating a loop between two EAs, and thus a nightmare.

As to the set file, scroll back a few pages and I outline what I do. I trade this live, and do not use the Ea as a hands off trader. I close out positions t least once a day. I mainly use the program to gt me into positions while I am sleeping or otherwise occupied. I manually exit about 60% of the positions.

I believe Steve moved all the indi code into the EA, so you don't need the indis any more. He just forgot to update post 1. I'll let him confirm before removing that comment.

Just a suggestion ..

Is it possible to recognize and code the EA on the condition

place trades after the (highlighted) areas. Change of the MA5 slope from downslope to an upslope ? Or vice versa

Thanks gary, that's kind of what I had figured when I set it up...but the EA is calling for them. Different names from the indi's I have now.

For the EA in post 1 you need

10.2 WeeklyOpenHistogram 2x1 4.29 (attached)
and
10.2 WOH 2x1 4.29 (copy & rename the attached - I think it's the same just different name)

(see pages 46-48 of this thread)

PS Steve seems to have moved on from this EA (p49 -51)
