Here's my basket entry for today, I got in a little early I think but hoping it will go into profit soon.

Ok as we all know timing is critical.... I posted the above snapshot about 10mins ago. Basket contents witht he London push below.

I had mine triggered pre Lo too, similar to your times..

I am thinking now, Bernanke gonna speak again in an hour so, thinking of closing them profits now.. :

I made a mistake on ShelleyNOW and set the TP for 150pips it closed my basket for 151pips earlier tonight LOL!!

I was hoping to catch more of the move and bag at least 250!! Bugger!

Yep, I've decided to set my adaptive TP to 25pips per trade...after retracing from 270 pips to about 80 pips on Friday and then retracing back to BE on Monday. Both baskets would have closed at Adaptive TP if I had set it to 25.

I am generally a conservative trader with my focus firmly placed on preserving profits and limiting drawdown...I also try to trade my demo as I would on my Live account.

Mine was at 4:33
Long: NZDCHF,AUDCHF
Short: EURAUD,EURCAD,EURNZD,EURJPY
no GBP pairs because red news in calendar
my mistake: add EURNZD to the basket to early, that pair was in retracement, I didn´t wait for trigger. Lesson learned !
But despite of this, I closed (for my chicken finger ) live basket +100.4.

@fxozgirl: may I ask you about your adaptive SL?

It's bounced off the WP and DP – if you want to be safe close it for a loss and reopen it when it goes below the DP again.

What's your AdaptiveSL? 25 pips is too low for an AdaptiveSL IMO.
