PERSEVERE!!! That is all I can say. I have been following BOB for almost 4 years and have read nearly all of his posts. For the last couple of months due to work commitments I have been visiting once every 7 to 10 days and find it hard to keep up with all the developments here. The volume of excellent work coming from very talented people is astounding (nearly overwhelming). Even BOB had to take a break :D :D :D .

Keep reminding yourself of the ultimate goal. Just in case you are wondering what the ultimate goal should be it is to be PROFITABLE TRADING FOREX. That is it, pure and simple. It is not to make x% or a fixed amount but to be profitable, that is all.

Kind regards

My apologies to all that had to suffer through reading my first post.

For the record I had composed my message with indentations. I looked for a "review post" button before I posted but did not see one. I was not happy with the way my post looked either but was on my way out the door....Now I see that with the full editor there is a "Preview" button...

I removed most of my post since it apparently was in an unacceptible format. Steve said he has not a clue what I said....LOL. So it must have been pretty convoluted .

I had another post I was going to make about NB 10.2 system because as I had mentioned I developed a similar system years ago. I understand Bob's system. It's an excellent approach. As good as you'll find anywhere.

Now that I've seen the response from my first post... I think I'll just sit back for a bit and learn more about proper forum etiquette.... and decide whether I should go any further... again my apologies, clearly Steve is not the only idiot here.......... :D

PipPip........ Jimdandy.

p.s. Is there away to indent a paragraph in this editor?
All these lines come out left justified...

Jim it's all good mate everyone writes differently on public forums. It is just harder to understand when it's a big block of text :) My advice is to learn 10.2 from the manuals first. Then learn 10.2a from the manuals. Then once you have the hang of both of them delve into the EA's or other manual ways of trading it.

One step at a time. And please, you should feel free to post whenever you have something on your mind.
Please note I am no longer affiliated with Global Prime. I've moved on to my next adventure with Afterprime.

Yep Jim. If I thought you were an idiot, your name would not have changed colour.

:D
Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

P.S.: Sorry Steve, for messing with your code! I have also corrected an issue with SL/TP setting (ordermodify) for ECN crims.

Jason, when you apply the EAs to a chart you can set TP and SL in the input window. What do you want me to recode?

Is it possible to make an option to for SL based on the MA. There will be 1 input: The number of pips below or above the MA. So in a buy order I put 15, then when the MA is broken by 15 pips, the trade will close and we can ride the trade until it hits SL (no need for TP). Might work better than hard SL/TP :)

If it works ok maybe later we can add something similar for the daily pivots.

It would be nice if the SL and TP could be represented in dotted lines as well with different colour having the option to move closer or further away from the current price as necessary.

I love the this current NNbob system, I love the backtest results that I have produced for myself. But there is one big limitation of the TMA slope indicator, it repaint. I know there were a lot of debates and talks about this issue but please bare with me.

The fact that it repaints limits our ability to review past trades properly. The only way to do it is with a simulator. This system is superb but it will be great if TMA slope doesn't repaint for this reason. Thanks for taking your time to read this.
