Flying Slope auto-trading EA

Hi Team,

I'm also experiencing the high CPU usage while trades are open. It basically locks up the platform. This EA is profitable and I'm excited about the possibilities. I thought I might just write my own that isn't so resource intensive. I'm not sure the flying buddha indicator is needed, since we are just looking for a previous candle where the low was above the moving averages for a sell signal or the high was below the moving averages for a buy signal. Anyways.....hopefully we can sort it all out. Thanks for all the hard work and sharing this profitable entry. TCO

I am also experiencing high CPU usage when I run the EA - it is hogging CPU resource like mad.

V 1g is in post 1.

I had forgotten to code a call to the FB indi only at the start of each new candle, so the custom indi was being called umpteen times - that would be what was hogging the resources.

hanks Steve, also had same issue. I thought it was my Platform playing up...

V1g seems not solving CPU loading problem. I've replaced V1e of V1g just a while ago. The CPU remains keep very high loading. When I turn off V1g, CPU loading drops to 15% something like this....

Hi Harry45, just to check with u, your EURNZD & EURCAD trades were also taken by FS? I didn't have those 2. But i have the sells on EG & EA which is consistent with yours.

Thanks for the new version Steve but it has not solved the CPU load issue on my side...

TradeTalk from MT4i, ( http://www.mt4i.com/appstore/app.aspx?id=13&sort=name ) is a free EA that will email, SMS or Twitter trades opened, closed and pending, alerts are adjustable. You can format the messages to include the magic number and/or trade comment, good for identifying which EA took the trade.

Yes,It had been taken by FS v1d live acc.(Cowboy Go Markets-Europe,full history)
Something is strange.When I reload the platform several times CPU became 16%(9Gig) with 5 terminals open(2BaludaEA+2ShelleyJem+BJS Pivot Basket) and FS live

Steve,

Very nice ea. Here is a suggestion for you.

If 14 day ATR is below 90 then do not trade or maybe make it a user input parameter. This is good as it will knock out low volatile pairs that do not move. No worries if you do not want to implement it, just a suggestion.
