if it's any help in the slightest, version 1 has no cpu usage issues for me at all (actually reads between 0-2% cpu usage).
Not sure what's changed or been added since v1

I have 8 month old PC with 5i processor and 3Gb memory. It was not able to handle more than 4 opened by FS 1h trades, each trade increased CPU usage 20%, with 4 opened trades I had 80-100%. I had to delete FS from charts of opened trades and manage them by MPTM.
I think I found solution, I have now two open positions by FS1h with EA on the charts and 24 charts with FS and my CPU 3-10% and plus 3 platforms, yesterday in the same situation it was 50-60%.
I deleted EA from the platform in EA Navigator, closed all charts and than the platform. Installed an EA as on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZ8eNE-cFSA&noredirect=1.
I think I was wrong compiling EA after coping it to expert folder and open EA file there, I don't know why I was doing compiling of EA's this way, but all EA's were working without any problems and profits.
I had to close previously opened trades because if I applied EA on charts CPU usage jumped to to 60%. Now new two trades and 24 charts are running smoothly with 5-10%.

Hi Guys,

I set my StackDistancePips=0 which turns this off. The CPU usage dropped dramatically. So there is something in the LookForStackTradingOpps() function that is resource intensive. I have been looking, but nothing obvious stands out at me. Thanks - TCO.

TCO, thanks -- that confirms I'm looking in the right place. Have you tried running my test EA?

Buza, your comment is very interesting. I didn't realize the CPU usage went up with each additional trade. That wouldn't fit with what I thought might be the problem.

I don't understand your comment about how to compile the EA. The video you linked did it the standard way -- put the EA into the experts folder, open it in MetaEditor, compile. How were you doing it before??

are you sure you dont have a bot or two cooked for us while ure away?

Yes, it is correct and regular way to compile EA, my mistake was: after copy the file of EA into expert folder I was opening this file there " by" Meta Editor ( not from menu of working platform) and compiled this EA by pressing "Compile" and it always was working but not with FS.

Version v1b,today`s results.Unfortunately can`t use v1h,method of compilng couldn`t solve the problem,CPU was slightly reduced.
