I don't know what anyone is developing. I started this thread to open discussion on it, Phillipe is doing some research, other people may be looking at it.

let's pray and hope some smart cookie develops and shares such an Indi with us, it could make the difference between staying just one Step ahead of our Criminals and being Profitable at what we all share a passion for. I know somehow one Day somebody somewhere will give us a break, I pray it's sooner rather than Later.

another good example of divergence between Slope and Price movement that I want to get rid off

I suppose I have to calculate the ratio between Slope angle and Bar price angle to see if there is no divergence.

What i haven't found yet is the TMA-Slope True funktion. At the moment i'am using the repainting slope but its better to have a choice. Could be i haven't read all posts

The other thingy is, to have a locked TF and to display the indy with ,for example, H4 values on a H1 chart.

So. I think it will be another long night for me

I added a threshold value and a buffer to better evaluate the given pitch values. Only problem i have is the setting of the TF.
At the moment when you add the indi to another timefrime than H4 you will see the pitch values of the current TF and not the 240.

But even when i won't solve the problem i will post the indi sunday. I think its no problem for NeoTrader or others to fix this.

I haven't done it to 100% but here is the TMA-pitch indi. These are my first steps in programming again after some month...


On the following screen you see the TMA-slope (True) in purple color and the TMA-pitch in LawnGreen color.

The following user inputs are available:

lockTimeFrame : true to lock the pitch values to a fixed TF
TimeFrame : the TF to lock.
DeltaCandle: how many candles to look into the past for calculating the pitch
Threshold: will be used when the threshold buffer comes into place (see source code). Just ignore it atm
ignoreTMAfuture: i think you know what it means...

I wanted to add a third Buffer wich will show you when a given threshold was reached and you can see for how long the pitch stayed on the same side. But it's now 2 o'clock in the morning and in 5 hours i must be at work so i can't fix it.

So v0.4 is the finished version with removed threshold buffer.

Hi Gary, I was also thinking about slope direction. If the daily slope and the 4H slope are moving in the same direction, then pick retraces on the lower time frames and trade in the direction of the 4H and Daily. H1, 30, 15.

have been developing a hybrid direction and level
D1 Direction sets Trade Direction (regardless of level)
H1 trigger level e.g. 0.8 opens and closes trades
Counter intuitive on some trades but impressive back testing (visual on CHFUSD last 2 months) 3:1 RR 1450pips.... more to do to refine.

Looks like it could work... but it looks even better to me to enter when D1 & H4 direction agree. Bigger bites.
